  • hey this syndrome makes your dick huge so its not that bad

  • @Lee420Boss It does? That's a relief, I was afraid I had it :p

  • affects*

  • that is not completely true, darbiken. It depends on the severity of the disorder and which symptoms you have. Some of us DO need pain medications, for things like joint pain and headaches and so on, which are due to marfans. I have it as well, I was diagnosed shortly after birth.

  • hey i have marfans and thx for making this video. please note that we dont take medication for pain cuz we dont have pain... at all. the medication is for the mitro valve pro lapse to decrease in size but unfortuneatly it doesnt help the symtoms disapear. i wish i didnt have such long arms. im supper skinny with long limbs. marfans also brings a chance of scoliosis. most ppl with marfans have really thick glasses cuz of the dislocation of their eyes but fortunatley i dont, i have 20/20. thanx :)

  • Thank-you for spreading the word.

  • alot of this is right but yu leave out stuff tht might confuse people. yu might wanna add some stuff in another video and take this one down

  • Um, not trying to be mean, but a lot of your facts are wrong or incomplete... you should take this video down to avoid spreading misinformation.

    From a concerned Marfan's warrior.

Plus Michael Phelps does not have Marfan's. (Congrats to him)

  • Michael Phelps said in his book that he was evaluated for Marfan syndrome but that he was determined NOT to be affected by the condition. He continues to be monitored.

Also, regarding heredity: If a parent has Marfan syndrome, each of their offspring will have a 50/50 chance of being affected.

  • what if none of my parents have a marfanoidian(?) body structure?

  • Approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of people with Marfan syndrome have no family history.

This is called a spontaneous mutation.

  • just like my spontanoeous pneumothorax. hooray.
