  • Nvidia man... You are apathetic.

I'm not a fanboy of ATI or Nvidia... Just i'm biased... And we must admit than... AMD and ATI, just are ruling now.

    That is the truth.

  • The next Trinity APU, the A10, will come with a HD7660d video card and a Quad-Core 3.6Ghz processor with 65watts TDP

  • GPU multi tasking(DX11.1) nice.

I think fusion will surprise people in 2013-2015.

GPU's can go 1400% faster then CPU's and intel has problems with parallel.

A high end i7 killer wouldn't be out of the question.

  • 1:14 Laptop inside a PC. I wonder whats inside that Laptop?

  • @RagingBubuli a Tablet!!!

  • @RagingBubuli a tablet..

  • at least this is real unlike Intels fake DX11 F1 game

  • what about low voltage apu on tablets?

  • what, no vlc player?

  • @Nvidia9700MGT Was about to comment seriously but then I saw you nickname and prefered to do something productive

  • @Nvidia9700MGT you are just a retarded fanboy, AMD APU rules

  • @BritishNathan ok I'm a retarded stupid fanboy --"

    cry moar

  • @Nvidia9700MGT im not going to waste my time talking to you, dont worry, perectly APU is one of the best things that ever happended, just dont want to accept, bye bye.

  • @Nvidia9700MGT your usernames a nividia graphics card. your a massive fanboy.

  • @DarkEmoE IF AMD would put colors in their graphic card and add a triple channel memory in their cpus I WON'T HATE AMD OKAY ?

put more dislikes on my comment and RAGE MORE AND CRY MOAR

  • but can it run vlc >:)

  • hilarious unboxing

  • With dx 11 and 25% + cpu and +50% gpu over lano

Trinity will be a mega hit

I'll take a trinity 5800 wirh 2133 mhz rem and hd 7770 in dual

  • how many Laptops can do this?

  • @cowclot Actually Read DX11 FuSion sales were 20Million on Dailytech I think! Seems Nvidia Is releasing around March/April for one, second they hit around 1.3GHZ with Sapphire Cards and have a higher shader count card waiting for Kepler when it comes out! Kinda a 7990

  • AMD seems to have 6Million DX11 Fusion APU sales, and around 37Million DX11 GPU's out on the market! Putting them at around 43Million Total Volume Units for DX11! What does Nvidia have going on with sales of DX11 GPUs?

  • dx11 on dirt 2 isnt really any different from dx9/10.1.. it is still impressive tho

  • Comment removed

  • no vlc player ? :S TROL

  • @cowclot I actually doubt you do considering how much BS you've spewed.Just about every review site disagrees with you and having used one of the E350 soc for a few weeks it's certainly not shit. The only thing here that's shit is the stuff coming out of your mouth, figuratively.

  • But, will it blend?

  • It's the real deal because the gme is running at LOW , if theyd want to fake it it would be MAXED out :) . its an APU so running that good at LOW is still very good considering its not a gaming laptop

  • Where is the VLC player? Well, I guess this is the real thing.

  • BEAST!

  • Since Intel continues to struggle with dx11 I think i'll get an AMD based notebook. they seem have a handle on what people want .

  • AMD, when would you make a deal with apple to produce AMD macbook pros?

  • Actually really liked the display AMD had good going. Clever bastards

  • soon jubilate madbook

  • "Doing 1st Gen is hard.Doing 2nd Gen DX11 is harder." very sick man

  • @mathburn1

    gunnary sergeant hartmann

  • @mathburn1 he's talking about DX 11.1 i think

  • Opens up the desktop tower while showing off epic trollface. :3

  • K hmm.. funny thing is that andand's video says that dirt 3 is running on low settings on Trinty but they say here its a "high end" setting so who's telling the truth here? I any takers as to why the rep seems to contradict here? search for andshimpi trinity apu demo to see for yourself!!

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY!!

  • 0:44

    It's not even on.

  • WOAAAH!

  • Just watched the ivybridge demo and couldn't help but laugh. I hope piledriver does well on destop.

  • AMD, a little idea:

    1) Resurrect your ARM division.

    2) Keep improving Fusion architecture.

    3) Keep improving Radeon GPUs.

    4) Mix all up in an x86/ARM Fusion APU with a low-range Radeon 7000 IGP.

    5) Add a second, more powerfull GPU (just as you did with first Llanos).

    6) Put all together in a 13-inch laptop.

    7) Add Windows 8.

    8) Sold out.

    Thanks in advice! ;)

  • @octubre1987 Read something about the FSA architecture, specially the FSAIL bit. You can read more about that on the coverage of 2011 AFDS. Some believe it opens up exactly what you are proposing.

Also, some believe Rory Read will expose an ARM strategy.

  • @sinroman wow... thanks. I'm searching those papers right now!

  • @cowclot You idiots keep talking about real world performance but it's clear you've never even used a netbook using any of the Zacate APUs. Any good look at a review of the SoC or a netbook using a part like the E350 will show it's a good performer in and out of real world examples. Btw, I have used one and it works fine for its intended purposes and walks all over Intel Atom and Nvidia ION in terms of power consumption. Plus it provides better performance. By your logic Atom is trash

  • Most impressive. The game runs fluid and smooth, and at the same time, converting a video and playing a movie. AMD's laptop cpus are killers. Desktop cpus belong to Intel, laptop cpus belong to AMD.

  • Well done !

  • @cowclot Brazos has been a great success. It has more cpu power than Atom and a real gpu. All this in a lower power budget for a lower price.

  • @cowclot Zacate was able to compete with the latest Atom models paired with Nvidia's ION while consuming less energy. Hardly shitty. And it's pretty funny how easily you show your ignorance. Brazos is AMD's ultramobile platform, Zacate is just a name for a set of APUs under the platform. The redundancy makes no sense, nor does the distinctive descriptions "shit" and "utter shit" given between the two. BD was crap, given, yet I think we have an intel fanboy on our hands

  • Excellent !!!

  • Insane. Subbed and liked. Will be visiting Hothardware from now on, nice to see someone produce journalism on more than JUST Intel.

  • Sexy.

  • Dude, I would have killed him with questions on trinity wtf

  • Comment removed

  • Impressive, I always wanted an AMD based machine but ebed up with intel.

Hope AMD get their price right and my next laptop/desktop erik be all red.

  • AMD should've have just played a gameplay video of F1 2011 on the laptop. Not using VLC of course

  • Вот это Мощь!!!

  • Computerception...

  • nice. look at intel ivy bridge. runing vlc player with wheel. xD

  • 17 tdp awesome when your are in ur bed

  • 1 intel zombie disliked the video

  • @nasapun just have 2 now

  • haha, nice video ! I loved the case opening :D

  • Yo dawg. I heard you like computers....

  • @Warrimonk fuckin lold

  • @Warrimonk I see what you did there...

  • RIP intel lol

  • 1:15 i lol'd

  • Палец вверх кто с клокеров

  • No VLC bars? I'm dissapoint.jpg

  • @BCEMCOCATb

    VLC? ohgodwhy.jpg

  • @BCEMCOCATb Only with Intel :P

  • Nice notebook case.

  • Haha - netbook w obudowie :)

  • And you will be able to cook your dinner on it, probably.

  • @misestrelka with 17 watts it's going to take some time! lol

  • @DerMacko correct me if i'm wrong, dx11game+converting, without a GPU? If so, that really is impressive. I just assumed it would have a GPU=Cooking.

  • @misestrelka Trinity is called an APU because the GPU and CPU are on the same chip as opposed to traditionally being separated. If I remember correctly, the GPU portion isn't getting a huge upgrade over Llano, but the CPU should be improved quite a bit since it's using Piledriver cores aka second-gen Bulldozer.

  • @lagz0rz watch?v=U6vH9OXHUJs

  • @TheMmakk Oh, so they moved from a Redwood-class to a Caymen-class GPU as well? (Quick translate of the linked article in there because I'm at work). That's quite an improvement, actually. I was pretty impressed when I saw the game run alongside the encoding in the video you linked and the game didn't run at a slideshow.

  • @misestrelka it still use a gpu, maybe you mean a video graphic card..

  • good news at last (I see plenty confidence in his eyes, always a good Sign)

  • Nice!

Also there would have to be some pretty clever prioritizing going on, or otherwise the encoding would eat up all the processing power making the game/movie stutter.

Now just launch the piledriver based fx series of cpus already!!

  • @DerMacko

prioritizing?? not a problem on AMD. amd is more capable on multitasking than intel. try that on an Intel system, i bet you, its gonna LAAAGGG(talking bout an intel system with a similar price as that. its like llano vs its similarly priced i3. tho even llano can beat i7 in multitasking) it has something to do with the architecture:)

  • another big wow for AMD......thumps up AMD...AMD forever

  • When will it available to retail market , I want one :)

  • Very impressive from amd. They really do deserve this after the bulldozer dissapointment. I find myself hoping that intels integrated graphics won't stack up just for the sake of pricing and competition. I'm also interested to see how these stack up in terms of processing power.

  • Impressive.

  • WoW

  • Then watch intel's IvyBridge UltraBook demo :D

  • @ViperXtreme I have seen it (the one is not fake) and they only show a directx game, you dont see that processor encoding, playing a video and playing dirt at the same time :D

  • @ViperXtreme yeah the one where the F1 performance is a video and not even a demo?

  • @JohnTehPainter

Yeah, tho Intel proved themselves by letting out a real demo, not a vide

  • @ViperXtreme mm, a real demo where they remember to push the play button ;)

  • @ViperXtreme I didn't know INTEL makes TROLLS too..

  • @ViperXtreme Only $1,000 this year :)

  • OMG !

  • EPIC!

  • nice

  • Very impressive.

This is a taste of what next gen consoles will have as well.

  • wow, should wait for a litter bit long and get the trinity laptop

  • Impressive stuff, hopefully will make up for the Bulldozer performance.

  • @skinlo01 Bulldozer has never been bad performer.. It always perfomed excellent in "Real World" use. People have been dependent on Benchmarking Softwares and always bragging they have better scores. Why don't just people buy according to their budget and just be happy playing stutterfree games. Intel has always been the best. But AMD is the KING of Price-to-Performance processors.

  • @BedShaker0909 Bulldozer most of the time performs worse than a Phenom X6. AMD said they weren't focusing on higher ipc but on higher throughput via more cores. You could give me a 16 core Bulldozer for $200 I would still choose a i5 2500K for $200.

  • @fergy1982 True.. It depends on what Application you use.. I assume that you're a Gamer so you're better off with an i5 Processor. But as a Software Engineer, the Bulldozer Architecure has the Potential of being a better processor. It all depends on Microsoft now.

  • @BedShaker0909 I can't see how you can get to that conclusion. The bulldozer patch for win7 adds at best 10%. A 4 core cpu like i7 always beats an 8 core bulldozer. Intel just has a higher ipc. Maybe in the future when more software is optimized for bulldozer and if AMD can raise bulldozers ipc by about 10%. I haven't seen a single review that advises you to buy a bulldozer. (I love AMD btw but there are limits)

  • @fergy1982 "I haven't seen a single review that advises you to buy a bulldozer" - They always do.. according to budget ofcourse.. but not because of performance, obviously. Thanks for the good conversation.

  • @fergy1982 I bought an FX 4100 recently for testing against an i5. And I simply can't justify a $100 price gap with an i5 2500K. Overclocking was so easy too. But then again, IF I wanted the best, I'd go Intel.. but the performance isn't just worth double the price. IMHO

  • @BedShaker0909 Uh no. They aren't the "KING" of cost-effectiveness. At the moment it's still intel. The i3 2100 competes with, and occasionally overtakes the likes of PII x4 980. The SB based Pentiums also wipe the floor with similarly priced AMD CPUs. No less, the original PIIs are being discontinued. As for "Real world" uses my ass. Most reviews pin the highest end BD, FX8150, competing with the 2500k (roughly 20% cheaper) at best. This is with higher stock clocks no less.

  • @Geoxile Another FanBoy bites the bait.. Easy now, I still have my i7 with me.. I dunno where you get your info but I do my own Testing at home.. And I'll stick with my own research than what you read on the internet.

  • @BedShaker0909 Yeah, you're going to compare Atom and Zacate CPUs using an i7, because that makes sense. Your own research is basically nonexistent. By the way, any of the major tech news/review sites are far more reputable than you. Like I said, you're just another intel fanboy.

  • @BedShaker0909 The only worth CPU item AMD has to offer on the desktop platform is Llano, which probably doesn't even have great value since one could simply buy a Pentium G620 and a cheap GPU for a similar price with equal or greater performance. The Llano's CPU parts only rival that of Athlon II, no doubt due to the fact the architecture was rehashed from the K10 variant used for the Athlon IIs. In fact AMD knows their APUs are their best option as well, thus Trinity.

  • @Geoxile phenom II have good performance for the price + AM3/AM3+ mobo are cheaper than intel or Llano ones

  • @Nagby3 PIIs are being discontinued and the 2100 outperforms even the high end PIIs x4 at a lower price. H61 motherboards are just as cheap as trashy AM3 motherboards without being trashy

  • omg

  • and when it going to come out 2015???

  • @tomyloveu turn your hearing aid up he said:"2012 A-series APU" at ~0:22

It seems that amd made right decision when they decided to focus on fusion. Still it would be nice to have some competition in highend cpu market.

  • @compvter haha u dint understand then what i mean for bulldozer they took years so when they say 2012 will it come in 2015 thats what i mean...
