the show has changed a lot. but the main difference is the change in all those running gags, like the janitor's name being a secret, or JD's fantasies, or Dr. cox calling JD either newbie or a girls name, or Ted being a sad character that wants to kill himself, or Todd's constant need of sex and his high fives. now ted, todd, the janitor, carla, elliot, touchy intern, snoop dogg resident, beardface, doug (nervous guy), kfc resident and jordan cox have gone, the show feels empty.

Todd's still around, as well as Elliot, Snoop Dogg Attendant is as well, he's in the episode where Lucy wants to raise money to help the alchoholic, JD obviously still has fantasies, along with Lucy, the show's new protagonist, Jordan's still here, and plus, how could the missing overly touchy orderly make the show feel empty?

You'll find my comments on a lot of these videos. Allow me to add another reason why this show failed, they got rid of Ted. No, that's not completely accurate. They gave Ted a GIRLFRIEND and a LIFE. What made Ted Ted was the fact that he had no life. That may sound mean, but the fact remains that he was the comedic relief of the show as the sad sap character. Though he was a minor character, he was a chip in the pillar that held Scrubs up. That chip came out, and the show fell down.

Regardless, the reason it's less funny when it's narrated by a girl is not because girls are less funny, because Jo, after all, is pretty amazing. It's because the entire basis for JD being as funny as he was, is that he's characterized with unusually effeminate habits. When that same thing is applied to a girl, it just seems.. too normal.
