  • Who ever thought this was good for children. This really scared me as a kid.

  • Someday I want to go here and fix them all ;.;

  • showbiz pizza ruled back in the day. a lot better than chuck e cheese. rockafire explosion always played a version of the beatles birthday i remember. im glad they were able to salvage some of these. i wonder if any of the shows still retain the original songs and music.

  • Umm... just how old is this video? Is Billy Bob's Wonderland of West Virginia still in operation? What's the current status of this famous robotic act? Gee... wish Disney would buy them and put them in Disneyland or Walt Disney World. I agree with the Suck-E-Cheese critics. Not only is the entertainment been slanted to preschoolers & parents only; they also have an "anti-stalkers" policy. (No single adults without children.) That REALLY sucks! I feel so alienated.

  • @JKSpiero Billy Bob's Is still in operation. The problem with the animatronics is that they can only be fixed with other parts from older animatronics. I'll send you an article from the local newspaper that interviews the technician. I didn't know Suck-ee-cheese's had a policy like that :/ The sad thing about these characters is that kids just don't care anymore.

  • i thought this place closed down

  • You know, the guy who designed and built the rock-afire explosion has a youtube channel. I wonder how he feels about the state this particular band is in.

  • I always thought these things were freaky as a kid.

  • WHats wrong with Mitzis eyes? They look scary

  • the band looks old and drugged out of their minds. this is sad!

  • those people are so rude walking in front of the performance

  • The 2nd generation Mitzi would have looked a bit more natural.

  • SOOOO GOOD!

  • hahah the moms look bored

  • OMG they are all falling apart and Mitzy's face is drooping and has no pom poms.. it's like.. a horror movie!

  • Mitzi is so fucking scary looking

  • Wow, they needed a series tune up. You can even see that Mitzi's face seems to be slipping off, or her inner facial/eye mechanics are pulling into her head.

  • Where is this showbiz that lasted into the 90's?! We lost all of ours to Suck-e-cheese in the south east by mid to late 80's! I miss showbiz...much better than the rat!

  • @griffincomics google rockafire... some guy bought one of the last remaining animatronbics bands and made these himself.

  • PR O!

  • whats grandma doing!?

  • Wow, they didn't sing this kind of music back in the early 80's. XD

  • those guys need a tune up..some oil and screws fixed..they're draggin.

  • Not very 'animated' or 'explosive' (is the air pressure too low?!)

  • if she was a mouse she have big teeth

  • Mitzi is a mouse. Rolfe is a wolf.

  • It's NOT the programming. It's rather that it's old, and no one has fixed things when they have gotten bad. At least it's working, and not moving at all.

Another way to explain it, is that it's wear and tear. A car eventually needs to be treated after you had so long. It's not just going to last overtime.

  • It looks like the programming wasn't done very well. They're hardly moving. Not as animated as they usually are.

  • I loved Showbiz and Rock afire Exlplosion!!!!!!!!

  • I wish they'd do songs like this when I go.. Haha. D: Oh well. I love going there anyway.

  • This is just wrong1 but why is it soooo creepie?

  • I'm 28 and this still terrifies me just as it did when I was 5

  • i love

  • I saw the RockAFIRE Explosion movie at the Sidewalk Motion Picture Festival in Birmingham and I loved it!! This is great! Perfect song for them! I recommend the movie. It was great.

  • Actually, that would make perfect sense, as she was originally a member of The Wolf Pack 5, the original band that played at Showbiz.(though when she performed in The Wolf Pack 5, she was outfitted as a fox.)

  • ROFL!!! I love how it almost sounds like real life people leaving the group and doing a band with a solo career.

  • No it doesn't.

  • Well i don't know? I know she's a mouse, I thought she was a fox. I don't know? May be the head is way different. Don't ask me I dk

  • haha the kids could care less...

  • They have the wolf too, right??

  • Yes, I'll have to post that video and the one of Billy Bob and also the wolf. Someone has posted a video on here of the same location. The Wolf is in the worst shape - and his puppet's body is hanging off of its head by a few strings.

  • I actually went there this weekend and checked them out! Check out my featured video on my channel. Rolfe was so depressing! :(

  • Aww no one is paying attention to the wonderful performance :(

  • I saw No Doubt in concert. The Rock-a-Fire Explosion actually does a better job performing their song! LMAO!

  • The confused old white haired lady is priceless.

  • I remember the Rockafire Explosion at ShowBiz all around Chicagoland in the 80s as a kid...I even have a record of theirs!!

  • I remember them also..went alot and had a few birthdays there..still have one of the records too :o)

  • When I was a kid I went to the original billy bobs wonderland in Barboursville, WV back then the rockafire explosion set was in better condition this set could use some tlc and maintenance. I know one of these days when I get a chance I will go back.

  • Do you take requests?

  • another sad rockafire explosin :(

  • true!

  • I remember seeing these robots at billy bobs....when i was very young...maybe 1989 or something...I remember i loved it...but now that i watch them....for some strange odd reason...Its really creepy....and the song thats playing in this one is not one of them that they would have had on the tracks then...

  • that was funny too bad you coverd up the characters voice though

  • Is this place still open? I'm actually from Kentucky and I remember going to this place as a child.

  • yea

  • Hold on. I thought rockafire no longer existed. Kick ass to see them back. Where was this taken. I live in va bch, va and would love to share my nostalgia with my younger younger nephew instead of what chuck e cheese is now. He would love this.

  • If they haden't zoomed in close on that rodent in the cheerleading outfit I would have instantly assumed that was actually Gwen Stefani. The similiarities in appearance are shocking. :)

  • Hahahahahaha!

  • Don't EVER compare Mitzi to Gwen Stefani! Mitzi is a whole lot better than Gwen!

  • I remember the rock-afire explosion from the very early 80's, so seeing them singing a No Doubt song is weird!

  • Alot of fans have Rock-afires in their homes now. There are still some found in restaurants and theme parks around the world but most are in terrible shape.

  • Yeah another show bites the dust. :(

  • flamingoland in england had this show until this year when they removed it from the theme park

flamingo land is on of englands top theme park a zoo and they had thaeirs for years as i used to have a home there . flamingo land rock a fire explosion show was all in good order

  • so this is new???? i thought a working rockafire set existed only in legend

  • Yea... Defentily where i work at
