  • in short... speed = more power. Speed makes up for bulking up... big time

  • c nul

  • Gay!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you wouldnt catch me dead doing that O_____________O literally.

  • @MrChannel5news then i guess whren the guy opposie you see tou slow hand coming he'll be caught dead by the counter

  • Yes this will increase speed and therefore power.. If completed in duration of 9 secs or less as fast as possible, similar to sprint work also include 1-3 minute rest between speed training exercises... FOR all you people who posted on here about "you can't train speed, or you can't train power" you probably shouldn't have contributed b/c both can be improved. That is the reason why we train for all sports to be bigger, stronger, faster...

  • Are you serious? LOL

  • your not born with it use the speed bag man

  • nah man, never doubt yourself , you can do it if you apply yourself, just because some1 tells you its impossible for them doesn't mean its impossible for you. build some self-confidence and the possibilities are endless

  • @WindyCityGym everything can be achieved with effort

  • @WindyCityGym Hand power is something you are born with, speed on the other hand is something that is made. You can also increase your power but not the way you can increase speed.

  • @TylerDurdenK7 theyre both something that one is born with and they both can be better developed. one can increase their speed or power

  • @chrlzbrks Yes as i said in my comment you can increase power but it is much more genetic than speed. Look at Paul Malignaggi for example, he have boxed for a long time as a professional but still after all his training he is an excellent boxer but a terrible puncher. He could never knockout anybody who isn't a glassjaw. Mike Tyson also say that power is something you are born with, don't you think Mike Tyson one of the greatest boxers ever would know more about boxing than you do?

  • @TylerDurdenK7 i dont think its much more genetic than speed though. theyre are many sayings that you cant teach speed. i do believe mike tyson is right when he says power is something that your born with, but their is others who say speed is genetics as well. Basically what im tryin to say is that its all genetics, and someone who has no power can become powerful with years of hard work. if mike tyson were to disagree with that then i would say i dont think he knows more than me.

  • @chrlzbrks Let me put it this way. Speed comes mostly from fast twitch muscle fibers. But then you have power which a major part comes from your natural shoulder structure and the size of your fists etc. So what i am saying is that you can indeed increase power and speed but the thing is that most of the punching power comes from bone structure and things like that which you can't change.

  • @TylerDurdenK7 all aspects of fitness r related. to better increase one you will have to have the other aspect will hve to change as well. me saying this it is impossible for one to be much more genetic than the other. only depends on the person ur dads fast ur usually fast cuz ur genetics. he powerful...and so forth

  • @chrlzbrks Almost anything can be amounted if you put your mind to it so i am not trying to say that it is no way to gain ko power, i am only saying it is much harder to gain than speed.

  • @TylerDurdenK7 Mass x Speed = Force...you got the speed with those gloves on, man....you've got some force.

  • @Caveman1213 hahahhah yea, the gloves increase the total mass hahahha

  • ne body ever tried this?

  • Amazing, just amazing.......what will you masters think of next!

  • umm can you explain how this increases speed

  • plyometric exercises increase speed because they force the muscles to contract quickly so they train speed stregnth/ power.

  • @kickbxingbboy because it puts mental pressure on you to make the landing, unless you wanna eat it. and gradually it becomes easier, thus, your hand speed increases.

  • just do clap pushups....they are better

  • just a light stretch, too much will make you lose strenght

  • they just invented that shit

  • alright. i hope you have fun with joint pain later on in life.

  • Incorrect. This drill will increase hand speed. Posting incorrectly on the internet will, however, make you look stupid. Blueazul, instant fail.

  • doublefail :)

  • Am I supposed to stretch before trying this?

  • Incorrect. Doing a push up slowly works endurance. Doing the push ups as they are demonstrated in this vid develops speed and explosive-ness.

  • word up insomniac!the more explosive you are in your training then your body learns to act ike this everywhere in training or fight

  • @insomniak42

i realy dont understand what your saying. is it bad or good ?

  • @viyark depends what your trying to acheive

  • @insomniak42

but is it good for boxing, does it make u faster or stronger?

  • @viyark We do this at my club, it gives you more strength than regular push ups because you push xtra hard to get higher over the ground + it gives you faster punshing speed =)

  • @XtruxtioN thank you
