I like the show but think Peter was miscast. Girls will fall head over heels for him but so what? I'll buy that he could pass as a scientist but the guy has a gentle, youthful look and couldn't intimidiate a fly. Also the acting is bad...bad timing, bad fight scene, etc. I want david duchovny, harrison ford, christopher lyod or someone like hugh laurie to play the mad scientist type...someone older, wiser wittier with an edgy look..Walter would be an awesome main character with a good writer

Scariest thing about 8mm is the killer in the gimp mask looked like an every day mama's boy rather than as evil as he was..

I get the impression that with Peter through his acting that beneath the smile is a lurking a some sadistic tendancy just like I saw when Walter faced his own image during his trip back to the the loony bin In that scene the Walter he faced was not the loveable bumbling Walter but had the predator eye with a sadistic smile like, I'm still here old friend waiting....
