  • Mozart is easy for beginners but I think it is really hard to play well....It requires us high skills for musical taste I think..~~

  • @laserssoftball10 it's a homophone. Peace and piece.

Ladusa that was really good! I gave been playing 7 years and I shall never be as good as u were then! :) lol

  • Her dress is the right dress for playing this piece ( Lalo Symphonie 1st )

    She played so well already!!!

  • Hey Ladusa, Where's Symphony #9 In violin located in book? Is it in Suzuki? My teacher told me to move on to Symphony #9; I'm playing 8 now

  • wtf no its not in the book proberly book book # 20000000000 lol

  • She does perform this piece really well and she is incredibly talented, but if she's only been playing violin for 4 years she should be playing different things. Even with immense talent, it should come later in your violin repertoire. But again, this performance is amazing.

  • happybunny213250: If she plays this piece well, why should she limit herself to pieces that someone who has been playing for 4 years "should" be playing?

But great performance, Ladusa! Your talent amazes me.

  • Well, if she has managed to squeeze in everything that she should have played before this, then that's great! Meaning music like, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, Bruch Concerto, Saint-Saens Concerto, and other things on that level. I'm just saying that there are essential pieces that come at this point in one's playing, and unless she has already played them, it would have been a better choice to wait a year or two until playing Symphonie Espagnole.

  • @happybunny213250 bruch and saint-saens rule :) but i'm not sure about mendelssohn...

  • @violin4ever1 i don't like the mendelssohn concerto either :P

  • @happybunny213250 @happybunny213250 bruch and saint-saens' violin pieces rule :) but i'm not sure about mendelssohn...

  • peace2218 first of all its spelled piece so obviously u have no idea what u r talking about. and if shes good and she can play this song then she should play it, theres no right age to play a certain song. if she can play it, then she should play it! and id love to see u even ATTEMPT to play this song... (it would be hilarious) XD . LOL that was a gr8 choice of song, shes amazing

  • those shoes dont match ( not being cruelxx)

  • wow ur really good

  • Her shoes are horrible! XD

    Congratulations

  • doesnt matter about clothes

  • REALLY GOOD with the fact that she started at 6 and and shes 10 here. If you say Lalo symphonie espanol is pretty easy, THINK AGAIN because this is only ONE movement of the symphonie espanol. and even this movement is hard. Any one can play the notes, but only a few can actually make music beautiful.

  • you're fantastic!

  • your teacher looks like ben franklin XD how much do you practice a day

  • fantastic!!!!

  • and silverfind, stop attacking other people to cover up yourself.. its really immature and i can see why you think lalo's SOOO much harder

  • mozart is easier for beginners, BUT it's REALLY hard to play WELL..and to express good and play with perfection so you'll need A LOT of skill to play mozart WELL. if you're more advanced (ask any professional, you'd think/know Mozart is a lot harder.

Lalo, on the other hand is EASY to express but it requires much skill. I would say that lalo's easier, and you would know if you're a professional...

  • agreed!

  • i like all ur pieces

  • okei mozart has a few very energetic pieces but seriously AbsoluteZ3R0 Mozart is really nothing of what you describe his music to be :o mozart is gracefull, charming and usually happy but nothing like you describe him :O

  • I'm learning this right now, I and think she is a very good way to see how to express Lalo. I also played the third and fourth movement of this peice as part of a symphony!

  • Extremely well done. I'm 15 and I still can't play this as meticulously as you do. I should be ashamed.

  • yeah, you should!

just kidding, but really, I'm now 13 and I can play it, although sometimes I rush it through......

  • You are great!!!!I am also a violinist and when I was at your age...I didn't even imagine that!!!Whatever people say you really are very good violinist yet!!!And you reminds a little Sarah Chank..But,may be you will be better?Who knows?!..:) God Bless YOU!!! :)

  • If she can play like that, at her age, learning for that length of time: I have a feeling she wont be needing mozart to play for auditions into orchestras. She's a soloist

  • Maybe, but its not sure!

Depends on her future developement. And a violinist, who can play Mozart very well, can also play Tschaikowsky well - but not the other way round!

  • You really played the piece the way it should be played... bravo!

I can't believe you're so young and have only been playing for about four years... very impressive.

Whatever little mistakes there may have been don't matter in my eyes. You really captured the emotion and nailed the important things about performing. Even being able to play that piece is phenomenal.

    Great job :).

  • At my highschool, we have an extreamly talented Orchestra program. We can profromed at Carnegie Hall, Disneyland, Chicago, Las Vegas, various locations and events in Arizona. A soloist has also played this exact piece and you were definably better then her. And she was a Senior. Wow, you are like a child prodagie.

  • lol! I agree

I have been playing 5 years and I've done all that Mozart and stuff, your bow strokes and tone quality are not up to where you probably want them to be. A better violin, like I said, might help ... :)

  • How much was your violin?

  • Symphonie Espagnole is much harder than the Mozart. 4 years until Mendelssohn? I don't think you know what you're talking about. Symphonie Espagnole is just as/harder than the Mendelssohn. The Tchaikovsky is a million times harder than both pieces.

Don't listen to him. Get a better violin maybe. If you feel like your tone isn't improving, you may need to switch teachers. It's all about the bow grip.

  • Mozart is the hardest of all. With reason Mozart is obligatory at all orchestral audition. Usually you can play only a minute or sometimes even just some seconds. Its enough to hear EVERYTHING! And Handel is a good exercice for Mozart.

Progession is not a question of playing more and more hard pieces, NOT AT ALL!

The question for career is not, at which age you can play Tschaikowsky, but how you play it, when you are 21years or even 28 years old.

  • She can't only do Mozart / Handel for 4 years. if you eat only eggs for 4 years, you will be very sick! Mozart is very delicate; Lalo is about energy and stylish. they are different colors. For tone quality she may need more etudes (but I think the sound seems faded due to recorded from far). Please look at her other one, much better. technically she's on the right level; musically, She understands and expresses Lalo very well.

  • There's no way you can pound technique into someone like that. It's ridiculous. Who wants to play Handel Sonatas for 4 years before they get to a technically easy Mozart?

I'd agree that it's extremely hard to nail the Mozarts with style and elegance, but there's no point in using such a strict way to teach someone. It's much better to improve the bow hold rather than learn to compensate.

  • TO:LorenzoLassek for piano, yes, Mozart is indeed hard, but in violin it's a different view. Mozart, anyways is mostly for piano. There is actually no "HARDEST" music of all. Agree with violin328. AS he said Lalo is very different from Mozart. Mozart is peaceful, and mostly quiet. Lalo on the other hand is about expression, energy.

  • are you serious? Mozart is peaceful and mostly quiet? Not expressive or energetic? Wow, just wow.

  • You are talking about Lalo musics. Mozart is 360degress different lol.

  • No I'm talking about Mozart's music. Mozart's music is extremely energetic and it's not always "Peaceful and quiet". Mozart is much more difficult to play than Lalo. Almost any advanced violinist can make this concerto sound good but it takes a real musician to bring mozart to life, and when one comes along that can, Mozart becomes very lively and expressive.

  • I know.....I WAS talking about Mozart piece. Do you read carefully? And I also said MOSTLY calm, peaceful. Mozart is easier than Lalo for me.

  • It's not a subjective thing. Mozart is harder than Lalo no matter what. Any professional would agree. Lalo may require more Paganini-esque virtuosity but Mozart requires a whole different level of perfection. This is why few violinists record Mozart but there's more recordings of symphonie espagnole than anyone can count.

  • Oh well........You still can't MAKE me Mozart pieces harder than Lalo for me. Seriously, Mozart is easier for ME. It also depends on which Lalo and which piece from Mozart you're playing. It also can't be NO MATTER what. People have different skills and different pieces they are good at.

  • You'll understand as you mature musically. Mozart is difficult for anyone. To play with a beautiful sound and be expressive on Lalo isn't difficult once you've become an advanced violinist. But to master intonation, articulation, and cleanliness in your playing is extremely difficult. I'm saying that it's more difficult to play Mozart well

  • You mentioned "when you become an advanced violinist.";Lalo isn't difficult. Well, same for the Mozart. Mozart, I've played many pieces. Indeed, it's not easy, it's difficult, however, when you practice 5times or so, it's not difficult. Yes, Mozart is hard of controlling the tempo also, but Lalo is more of.....style. You can't actually say ozart is difficult for anyone. It's not like everyone has same personalities and same skills they are good at. .

  • You have to be advanced to play Lalo, like you said, it's not very difficult, but it's not something any beginner can play. There's a reason why it was so shockintg that Yehudi menuhin could play Lalo after only 3 years of playing at the age of 8. How about this: play a mozart piece and a this piece for a professional and then ask him which one you sound better at. Or just record yourself playing both and you'll see what I mean. Classical music is brutally difficult to play well.

  • one thing i think you have correct is that the notes in either one aren't difficult, but it's so ignorant to say they are easy. lalo has more advanced techniques but mozart is quite difficult to play in style and really well without mistakes (cuz each one is obvious). Some of the worlds greatest musicians are sometimes scared of playing mozart. I know many professional violinists who ive heard at one point or another say mozart is hard. You can prolly plat both but i doubt either is good at all.

  • note wise Lalo is wayy harder, but stylistically Mozart is much harder. my violin teacher says you either have to be really old or reallly young to play mozart. it just has to be so pure and perfect!

  • Bravo!

  • Impressive after only 4 years of violin ! very good

  • 0.o

  • but on the second entrance, with the F, that was out of tune. its around 2:17

  • Soo good!!

  • the sound quality is pretty bad. But nice playing!! But I think you might want to get a better violin; you deserve better for your talent.

  • Bravo!!
