  • The Delta plane at 1:20 i may have been on that one or another one depends on what time it was when you were filming it.

  • Why does it keep clicking for

  • I love clicking airplanes. You cannot do it in New Delhi, India, for security reasons. I loved living alongside Heathrow in London as they have stands alongside runway from there you can watch and click. Now i am in toronto, which is quite confusing

  • Why some planes have smoke coming out of their wings

  • @1shaneyeo its not smoke, it's mist

  • Whats the Red Dish?

Also Tampa is the best airport =)

  • L.A.X The best airport in the world!

    Like for everyone look.

  • Great Video !! Greetings from Sri Lanka !!

  • The climb performance of the A340-300s seem to be very limited.

  • Doesnt that American Airlines 777-200 have Trent engines and is extended range?

  • Damn nice video dude i wish i was at LAX watching these planes take off.

  • i bet the air traffic controlers hate their lifes

  • Due to the global economic meltdown, airplane-watching or spotting has become a new form of family entertainment.

  • OMG i was on that united 744 in the begining :) seat 22j

  • cool...........i love los angeles!

  • NOTHING boring about spotting at LAX! Awesome AirTahiti A340...even if it did climb kinda sluggishly

  • No plane crashed! LOL

  • I love those Southwest 737s.

  • I love LAX gbecause of all the different traffic, and all the widebodies.

  • Great job!!!

  • didnt u get bored filming planes for 16 minutes ?

  • @Upizgany Actually, the video is 16 minutes. I was out there filming for almost 2-3hours.

  • Comment removed

  • @8081rt Great video. In fact 2 to 3 hours isn't enough !!!

  • @8081rt next time do it with a thick bushy beard, black sunnies and a long robe, i dare u.

  • @Upizgany Plane spotting is really fun for people who like it lol.

  • @Upizgany Who gets bored watching planes?? Culpano is right.. 2-3 hours isn't enough!!

  • I enjoyed this video very much! Thanks 808!

  • LAX nice, any one know how manny planes go off and landed in a hour?

  • wow the air tahiti a340 at 3.08 looks heavy, or just underpowered. I will be in LA from Australia in July, cant wait to do some planespotting. Can anybody recommend a good vantage point?

  • @Toffa1985

Funny you should mention that I had the same thought. I have spoken with a couple A340-3 drivers and they

all say it's like taking off with lawn mower motors attached to the wings. Very underpowered.

  • Отличное видео!!!

  • A PRIVATE JET!!!!

  • Great!

  • That Delta 757 and American 777 were soooo sexy!

  • @SkateGeek27 with Winglets, more sexy XD

  • @SkateGeek27 winglets cnt be topped on an airplane design

Congratulations for the video, I live in Sao Paulo - Brazil, you looked like my video I did on a trip to Belo Horizonte - MG (Ends) to Guarulhos - São Paulo .... thanks.

  • Nice shots!

  • when did they close that spot off PCH where you could park directly in line with the planes at take off?

  • very beautiful planes)

    nice spotting

  • I took count: American: 6 Southwest: 5 United: 3 Air Canada: 2 Asiana: 2 Delta: 2 Northwest: 2 Alaska: 1 ANA: 1 Air Tahiti Nui: 1 China Eastern: 1 Continental: 1 Eva Air: 1 Korean Air: 1 Private Jet: 1 Virgin America: 1 West Jet: 1 There is also one that I did not get a chance during the takeoff to identify because I could't see the name clearly and it was cloudy. Total Planes. 32
  • @moronboy86 good job buddy

  • woo VAustralia!

  • I love all the widebodies jets that come into LAX. It seems almost like every airplane.

  • Great video, thanks for posting!

  • Nice Video! I just love the A340 from Air Tahiti Nui!

  • what aircraft was the Tahiti ???? 707?

  • @andrewcbro It was an Airbus A340-300 from Air Tahiti Nui.

  • why is the 777 so beautiful? why?

  • the 3 who dont like this is retarted this is soooooo awsome goood job man!!!

  • wats those white line things tht come out from the wing

  • @ninjadude92584 On takeoff or landing? What I think your refering to is the vortices that form on the flaps and wings of aircraft. They are always there is depends on the dew point and humidity of the day to make them visable. type up Wake turbulence to understand them more.

  • @Helicopterpilot16 Ohhhhh thx for the info now i know :)

  • Is that the Nolan Ryan Express at 10:39?

It was my first ride ever ride on a 737-700 :)

  • love this! ;D

    great man! :D

  • you really need to use a tripod next time for a smoother pan. And try to pick a nice cloudless day. But i did enjoy the takeoffs. love the ASIANA Airlines colours on the tail. Only saw 2 747s my favourite.

  • @rox852456 you seriously think a 747 can break the sound barrier..? let alone before it's even taken off? It's only condensation on the wings

  • Whats with the fog with the first one? Or did it breake the sound barrier?

  • Who in the hell would dislike this!?!

  • @Helicopterpilot16 idiots who dont know what real spotting is

  • Beautifull city i would love to live here o boy!!!!!!!!!! I really think that if any out siders wana know what city does represent USA the most I would say dont go any further then Los angels. its the city of angels

  • 12:19 eva air had to be the closest to that billboard lol

  • awesome ?

  • Very nice video my friend, i wish live or work in some place like this.

  • nice video good for you

  • Did you see philippine airlines?

  • Great video, lots of good airlines

  • ana one of my favorite airlines

  • GRREEAATT!

  • whoa wait wait i thought it was never sunny in l.a well its sunny and foggy so never mind :)

  • Are these all the planes that landed/departed in this timeframe? Or are some edited out?

  • is that an american a300-600 at 04:05?

  • @trancebeliever thats a 767

  • @trancebeliever It's kind of difficult to distinguish the A300-600 from a B767-200 but I think this one is a 767. If you look at the wings, they're lacking the "winglet" (not sure what it's called) and also, the landing gear looks like it's angled forward like the 767. Also the tail and tailcone of the A300 is painted grey on American planes but only the tail is painted grey on 767 (the talicone is polished aluminum).

  • @spikey115 Easy way to distinguish the 767 from the A300

the 767's main wheels flop forwards in flight, the A300's stay level.

If the 767 has winglets, they are tall and skinny, the A300 has wing fences.

The 767's body tapers at the tail, the A300's body stay straight at the tail.

  • @trancebeliever thats a 767-200 they retired their a300's

  • nice vid

  • virgin australian get plenty of notice on their advert

  • i go to this spot alot like once every 2 weeks doesnt it annoy u that the fact theres sooo many southweest jets there ?¿

  • @Jimmy4manutd7ronaldo that is true

  • @dylan17286 me and my friend randomly call them our friendly neighbooorhood spiderman theyre always flying over my house ¡or when i go spotting

  • Richard Branson has a new airline? Damn that makes 3? Plus his Virgin Islands. And doesnt he own Virgin Mobile. Is he a virgin?

  • It's nice to see the old United colors on a 747

looks much more "executive" if u will.

  • I love driveing by KLAX on the 405 freeway and watching the planes come into land overhead.

  • Isnt This Where There Is Like A Cliff Nd House And A Telescope o sumthin

  • oh yeah bombardier learjet at 7:24

  • @skaterguitarfreak7 Its not a bombarider learjet. Bombarider and learjet are to totaly diffrent companys. Like Boeing and Airbus

  • Great vid menh! I loved it, saw my favorite aircrafts and airlines.....love you! your the best!

  • Now that was a good video!!!

  • i thought the a340 at 5:29 had a very "straight" take off

  • great video, love the condesation on 777 engines!

  • can you get a good shot of 25L arrivals from here?

  • A.C. Rules for SAFETY

  • One thing I hate about the LAX flight pattern for taking off is for those heading East they take off go over the ocean and take that sharp left turn.

  • EXCELLENT :)

I love planes. They are amazing.

I'm flying from Sydney to LAX in December. Its like my dream to land into LAX on a Qantas B747 or A380 xD Gahh! Finally going to fulfill it!

So excited to see all the planes at LAX! :D

    Great job mate.

  • Which RWY were you spotting?

  • I love this Video!!!!

Favorite airlines: American Airlines & Alaskan

    Favorite Aircrafts: B747 and B737

  • i wish u had the atc screening on this vid!!

  • TOTALLY AWESOME !!!!!

  • A 707 at 5:11?

  • A340 bud

  • @astranine no it is an A340. 707's don't fly anymore.

  • @SWATutorials it maybe a 707, John Travolta and The Air Force still fly them...

  • @astranine A340

  • Ye menn i Lv fly ;]

  • that tripple 777-300 is beast

  • is virgin america owned by richard bransen's virgin group?

  • 49% owned by Branson the other 51% is pretty much owned by investors from the United States

  • May I suggest using a tripod? Otherwise fantastic footage! I got some myself, looking down the runway center line.

  • Is this filmed on that cliff in El Segundo.

  • Yeah.

  • what is that white mist that comes out of the wing of the B737 at 6:55 ?

  • @8081rt My dad and I used to go near there when I was a kid and just look at the airplanes take off and land.

    Good times.

  • that A340-300 of Air Tahiti Nui had some impressive condensation coming off the winglets!

  • Thanks for the reply bud. If you put tin foil over your camera it won't give you the shit it did.

  • Comment removed

  • It's just WN all day long on the north side of lax

  • It's probably the acoustics in that area, but whenever I go plane spotting near that in-n-out - the little 737's have the highest decibels. Fay louder than the 4 engine heavies.

  • Whoever filming is getting some serious radion from that radar!

  • Read the description much?

  • What is radion?

  • Nice Vapor on the two first airplanes

  • nice vid, i went and stopped by in n out last week with my new radio and spotted airplanes and accidently tuned in to west aproach/ departure, i heard them giving directions for a landing to the "super jumbo" looked up and saw the a380 come in and fly right over my head :)

  • Nice vid mate, being an aussie, places like LAX dont even compare to any airports in Australia.

  • I dunno, Hobart International could give LAX a run for its money.

  • There's a lot of Southwest Airlines at LAX... we hardly see any in NYC.

  • proud to see an Aeromexico 737 at LAX!!!

  • It takes a really long time for the gear to retract on the China Eastern A340-600

  • Those MD's get really loud cause they don't really use full power until like minute after the Depart.

  • omg i would love to be there

    you are lucky

  • I love to go spotting in LAX in that weather! It's amazing..

  • I love the EVA Air 777-200 or -300 idk which series it is but its really cool.

  • its the 777-300ER series... and yes, its really cool!! :)

  • its the 300 :P

  • There are very few United airlines airplanes. That´s strange since LAX is an important hub for United.

  • not really SFO is a much bigger United Hub LAX is one of those places like JFK where everybody has a few flights

  • The buzz/beep/bleep you hear is definitely the radar, most newer brnad name cameras are shielded from such frequencies...

  • I hate the fog !

  • Awesome video!!!

The takeoffs on the south runway, where abouts is that location, and how do you get there??

    Thx.

  • Go west on the 105 till it turns into Imperial HWY then go left on Main St then Left again on Imperial AVE. If your still going west on Imperial HWY and you hit the beach you've gone to far.

  • omg this is werid as hell...while you where spotiing here i was watching it on the webcam on the internet... i saw the aur tahiiti a340-300 fly off whith all the planes parked up as the same as they are in this video !

  • can i ask is the best place to spot at LAX?

  • Find the closest In N Out to LAX and go to it, there is also a spot on Imperial AVE which is just south of Imperial HWY, that spot is where I shot the takeoff shots, Try the Proud Bird Restaurant which is on Aviation BLVD North of the 105.

  • at 5:24

    is that a 777?

    cause man i love them

they almost look like they cant lift off cause their gonna break in two they're so long

especialy nice in the inside its rlly lonnggg

  • that's either an Airbus A340-500 or -600.. i can never tell between the two..

  • k for some reason i keep on getting those two mixed up

and i have no idea why..

    anyways thanks

an i actually meant A340-500/700 cause i remember a Lufthansa flight i took that was exactly like that and ever since then ( i was young) i believed it was a 777 lol

    i guess i was wrong

    thanks!

    and great vid 808!!!

  • lol a 777 will only ever have 2 engines and the A340 will only ever have 4. :D

    you're welcome

  • Thanks. its a A340-600.

  • ufthansa does not have 777

The A340-700 does not exist ..

    Only: A340-200-300-500 and 600 :D

The best are the 300 and 600:)

  • whats the lufthansa plane that flies out of motreal then?

    4 engines very long

    its one of the airbus's

  • yup because 500 always tailstrike (i think( and the 200 is only medium haul (I think)

  • The 777 can be seen at minute 0:26 (All Nippon Airways Boeing 777-300) 1:38 (American Boeing 777-200) 12:14 (Eva Air Boeing 777-300) 13:15 (Asiana Boeing 777-200)

  • sry man, don't even bother replying

    i misunderstood what you said

and the lufthansa i meant was one of the a340's

thans for taking the time for showing me where they were on the vid too (the 777)

i finally got clear what is what lol:P

  • haha

    Okay!

No problem .. I like helping others with aircraft xD

  • @orisei no,at 5:24 its not a 777,its an a340

  • real beautifull big birds, great filmjob you've done.

    we gonna spot them soon.

  • Thanks!

  • Not sure but I think that beeping sound has something to do with this radar unit you can see in the takeoff shots. Evertime it faces you, you can hear the beep! Just a guess?!? Nice video!

  • Thats what I thought.

  • Great video, too bad the weather wasn't perfect for spotting. Are you going to put up more spotting vids? I enjoy these just as much as your others.

  • Civilian Spotting? Probably not. I don't really like spotting at McCarran or North Las Vegas. There's not much variety of airplanes unlike LAX. McCarran is just a constant flow of SWA.
