  • Nice and mellow sound.

Btw, is this what they call the "smile" trumpet embouchure? I have nothnig against it but I'm just curious.

  • @VinniePaah No it's not, he's just firming the corners of his mouth. Dimples are good, but smiling is bad. Search Adam Rapa, he uses the smile embouchure, and apparently it works for him, but i DO NOT reccomend it. Don't even try it, it's tempting at first, but can ruin your playing. It's the crack of embouchures.

  • I happen to be a professional trumpet, and as well a cornet player. I am so amazed by how beautiful your sound quality is! This is defintely a way to prove our incredible music can be, or is! I really appreciate your playing.

  • nur genial - mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen...

  • great, gives me inspiration !

  • great, gives me inspiration ! johan delacauw on facebook

  • A M A Z I N G ! ! ! Pure soul.

  • yes, he plays the model "killer queen" from schagerl

  • Now this sounds great and also looks more like a fluegel horn

  • @xkidmagex

Soon enough Lil Wayne will be forgotten. And forgotten entirely. Ask yourself why standards (look it up if necessary) live on and on.

  • this is my favorite song EVER :) it is a beautiful piece.

  • Magnífica interpretación!!!! Son un gran dúo!!!!!

    Saludos desde Argentina

Un seguidor de Breinschmid y Gansch

  • There such great entertainers aswell as amazing players that's why they're so amazing! I'm glad that they don't have much more to mush up the sound, it sounds great just them two.

  • Nice.

    What more can I say.

  • ... Junge, Junge dass is' ja demoralisierend so gut,

ich glaube diese Version ist eine der Besten, wenn nicht die

Beste die ich gehört hatte. Ein eigenen Stil, ist halt ganz was anderes als bestehendes nachspielen, oder zu toppen,

    was selten gelingt.

  • Superb :)

  • Thomas and Breinschmid - the purrrrfect combination. Fantastic playing!

  • I love how he alludes to Clark Terry's wonderful recording of Stardust!

  • @bachstrad72 Yep, he certainly does.

  • Why isn't this guy more famous? Is that a cornet version of the Gansch-horn?

  • That's what I say! I'm trying to do what I can to spread the word of his greatness.

That's the flugel version--a Schagerl Killer Queen.

  • That's Thomas Gansch. He heads up the Monzil Brass, arguably the best and most entertaining brass ensemble in the world. I WISH they would come to the states.

  • I heard that they might go to New York, but I'm not sure

  • Thomas really shows his flexibility as well as expression in this one.

  • saugeil^^

  • Einfach GEIL!! Scöne Grüsse aus Basel! :))
