  • this is bad first of all ur not supposed jump in the basket with both feet u have to have fun foot in the basket and then jump in there and hold ur self up more the would throw you high and don't squat down so much.......

  • okay, yes this wasn't the most fantastic basket toss in the world, but to everyone telling the flyer, stay on your toes, don't drop your butt... Look how high the bases are! She couldn't possibly not sink her butt. They need to lower for her, and the toss would be much better.

  • the flyer is sitting she needs to stay tight, ride it, and have her butt up. the bases also need to throw with their legs. if they do that she woulda gone alot higher

  • It looked like y'all were trying this stunt out for the first time. Never try something new at a football game especially if no one around is spotting. That's how someone gets hurt.

  • The flyer needs to jump in on her tip-toes, not flat footed. and the bases need to throw her all the way up, they stop half way through. If you work hard at those two things, it'll be a good basket! (:

  • girls, what are doing? Absolutely wrong! Flyer you need have a chiken position when you started to do basket toss! Bases, You should protect your back. Stand directly and throw vertically upwards. The forward base you shouldn't disturb to the right base when you catch a flyer.

  • guys, you should NEVER perform a stunt until you have it. That wasn't very good, not offence. Flier-keep your butt up, tiptoes, push up and ride it. Bases, you shouldnt even be doing this stunt because you don't know how to place your hands. Front spot, your supposed to be in the front, not to the side and backspot you really gotta push her butt up. also bases need to open up the legs more and really push from your legs, front spot needs to mimick the back spot, one leg in front one in back.

  • The thing i do when doing a basket toss im a secondary base with the dips do a little one then a huge one. It works a lot better...

    3.the front is holding wrong , you should be putting your hands under the bases helping them throw her

    4.flyer , make sure you ride all the way up !!!!!!

    5.bases throw her more !

    6. flyer keep your LEGS TOGETHER AND STAY TIGHT !!!!!

  • i was scared... the whole time. you did like sixty dips. and you didnt even know how to adjust your arms into the basket in the beginning... you back spot had to help you!!!! and you need to CHUNK her up there. and remember: head over knees over toes.

  • the best way to get more height is to dip only once when the flyer is in. you'll have WAY more momentum. And make them big dips - you want your strength coming from your legs, not your arms. and make sure your backs are straighter. :)

  • to flyer: lift up your butt when your in the stunt and be on your tip toes. and ride the basket more before you hit it.

    bases:BIGGER dips and really TOSS her and get lower so she can jump in right.

  • the front spot needs to be in the front not the side hence the name and dont bounce so much it may not make sense but the less of a bounce there is the higher it will go

  • @YourHugIsMyDrug um YES, it hurts the bases hands when your flat on your feet and when your on your toes you can boost off. i guarantee you ive been in cheer longer than you and ive cheered at many many many different places and they all MAKE you go on your toes
