A guitarist usually plays with a drummer during recording as a referance. Either that or to a guitar demo track with a click for referance and time.

@psycho1516 usually, bands record a "ghost track" with instruments playing. Then, the drummer plays along and records his part that will appear on the CD. Then, the bass player and guitarists get to listen to the drum part to record theirs

Hes recording. It muffles the sound and makes it sound heavier and louder and more complete.

the towels are creating a tunnel around the bass drum mic to control bleed going into the kick mics from the other drums. This keeps the bass drum track cleaner for mixing

its to dampen the sound a bit but mostly since theirs soo many makes, they recording of each mike can bleed into each other, that blanket isolates the other mikes so it can just focus on recording the kick drums :)

Écoute bin mon grand, c'est pas pour te décevoir mais au départ, Despised Icon était un groupe de death brutal (Consumed by your Poison, Galy Records, 2002). Leur musique provient du death metal et du grindcore, deux styles assez intenses merci. Éric Jarrin jouait dans Necrotic Mutation (groupe culte du death québecois) bien avant que tu saches c'est quoi du death metal, j'en suis convaincu. Despised ca tue et des gars comme toi, ca m'tue!

La scène du Metal Québécois est à peu près comme...l'équivalent du Metal Scandinave. Au Canada au complet, on a une très bonne scène mais au Québec on est vraiment les bêtes!

Neuraxis is from Montreal. i know it because one of the guitarist teach me. Unexpect is from montreal too. A lot of great Death metal band are from Montreal. dunno about archon :P
