  • Could somebody tell me the name of the band who played this song

  • This is a very good sound as all the James Bond Soundtracks . Could someone tell me if there is a long version of this song? Thank´s

  • Compartao arhivos de musica noo entiedo porque bloquean las cosas como si fuera algo malo talvez no entiendan que es para uso persona no es para uso comercial

  • Anyone who doesn't love James bond and his amazing soundtrack's is obviously

    VERY RETARDED

  • great music..great b o n d

  • manifico!

  • damn, I'm trying to loop this track..... 3min and 4 secs isnt enough.

  • Old Souls? Sounds more like "One Simple Idea" to me.

  • Oh my gosh I played Old Souls from the Inception soundtrack and they sound really beautiful/perfect together. =D =D =D Same key and everything.

  • @RoserraTheVixen

Listening to Old souls from Inception brought me here...

This is an Amazing track from the movie...

Love playing the background on the Piano!!

  • THIS SOUNDS LIKE INCEPTION!!!? :O

(or maybe the other way around. :P)

  • @RoserraTheVixen Yeah the other way around lol

  • beautiful, it reminds me a bit of hitman the game :)

  • great, amazing ........ great

  • What is th song that plays after this one in the movie where Bond and Green's men begin an intense chase. During this scene the gunfire is silenced and you can only hear the music from the opera but what is that song that is playing?

  • the opera itself reminds me of hitman: blood money.. tosca

  • @misterb1az3d Indeed except no explosion.

  • Can anyone tell me where I can find the song that is playing during the Opera? Or perhaps the name of the opera? It sounds pretty cool, considering that I'm not really into that kind of music.

  • @xXShortEmoKidXx the opera is Tosca by Giacomo Puccini and the scene is in Bregenz/Austria

  • Comment removed

  • this in combination with the sharp suits, the tosca, and the opera house make it one of the best scenes in james bond history

  • hey, where would I download this song?

  • @SuperDominikK search google : youtube to mp3

  • sounds like a score from the fantastic 4 movie

  • @ castlevaniaDOA yeah this tune is the best track in the movie , it makes you lower one eyebrow and drive too fast!

  • The best tune in the whole movie!

  • This soundtrack is awesome. Perfect for a James Bond movie.

  • For all of you talking about star wars haha you are all nerds this song reminds me of driving through those european roads with an russian girl by my side

  • This quite resembles "The Sniper Was a Woman" from The Living Daylights soundtrack.

  • @aldekeran The Sniper was a Woman is a good tiltle for this song

  • i kno it sounds so much like that

  • You know what I think every time I hear it?

    Star Wars 3.

Why? For those who've seen it, remember the scene where Papaltine and Anakin are talking in the Opera?

And the opera show was some odd show with swimmers and floating bubbles of water?

The aquatic feel the music has here and there would have blended in perfectly with that scene.

  • That scene was not an action scene. Hence it would not fit.

  • This didn't take place in the action scene when Bond was being chased through the Opera House.

It was taking place when the villans were entering the Opera House. And Bond was infiltrating through the crowds and the back halls.

I see this music going for a infiltration scene with style rather than a gun fight in an action scene.

So not it was not an action scene when this music was playing.

  • But that scene in Star Wars was not an infiltration scene. Hence it would not fit.

  • Ditto. Like breaking into the back offices whilst the opera was packed with people and security

  • It was when he drove trough Vienna, heading toward the Opera House.

  • This song has that feel of "struggle" and "strive"... with the generic bond type of sound to it. Best song on the soundtrack in my opinion.

  • It is very much like the Living Daylights Soundtrack which is my personal fav followed closely by FYEO...but Arnold is terrific...anyone remember Bjorks 'Play Dead'?

  • One of the few good things Arnold has done.

  • This is the best song on the entire soundtrack

  • when i listen to this i feel so relaxed, and also feel like i am on a sci-fi,underground modern facility, but not the scary type.

  • This some great spy music.

  • awesome thnx!

  • Awesome! 1 of the best tracks

  • This theme reminds me of ,,Syriana"...

Doesn't it sound a little bit like that?!

  • Some of this song reminds me of the song "the Sniper Was a Woman" from the Living Daylights.

  • Reminds me of Dalton's Bond movies.

  • Tis a bit like the living daylights, I think when he arrives at the Afghan airbase.

  • I like this soundtrack, It relaxes me and makes me think.

  • you guys cleared up the Vesper thing, which i did not understand, but what is to happen the Quantum of Solace, will they to beat them in a third movie, or is it over for the QOS

  • I think that the Vesper history finished with QOS, the next bond film will be in other threads.

  • It reminds me of the "Capsule in Space" track from You only live twice. Absolutely love it.

  • I have to say I think this is one of the most suspenseful bond tracks since "Gumbolds Safe" in OHMSS. A+

  • John Barry a enfin trouvé un successeur

  • This song is very classic and relaxing...

  • this reminds me of Moonracker lol :)

  • does anyone know where i can download this song or can someone send it to me??? limwire dosint have it!~!

  • oh, but there are many musics i really enjoyed at quantum of solace : )

  • the music i liked most wast the intro of the casino royal' movie, best one ever. tbh, i aprecciated more casino royale than quantum of solace...it's my opinion

  • The part where he takes pictures of everybody stupid enough to stand up and leave is so epic

  • i agree a epic scene indeed

  • This part of the film is epic. "can i offer an opinion, i think you people should find a better place to meet" classic. Then Green and Bond come face to face at the bottom of the stairs, that bit is epic. Bond just standing there in his tux, Green staring right at him, immense moment.

  • i agree a classic scene indeed

  • the opera scene was one of my favourite film scenes of the year.

  • Mine too. That was one huge opera house.

  • @reniisgod that is my favorite moment in the whole movie. so well done, i want to see more scenes like that in future bond films

  • @reniisgod I agree, that scene is pure epic.

  • @reniisgod The look on Greene's face when he sees him too. Brilliant. :)

  • best compositions fromm david arnold:

    1. tomorrow never dies

    2. quantum of solace

    3. tomorrow never dies

    4. casino royale

    5. die another day

    am i right>

  • I love casino royale's ost

but I agree with tomorrow never dies

seriously the best, from the theme song to...well mostly everything

  • I think your about right gotta admit though I never really liked David Arnold's work, only because I never looked into it. Listening to this score I realise what an idiot I've been :P

  • The best scene in the film !!

  • i agree

  • They did this scene sooo well.

  • i agree

  • This music creates a mysterious aura in the movie.. David Arnold is professional, but that goes without saying, otherwise they wouldn't have chosen him and I wouldn't be here listening to this.

  • 1:03

  • I just watched the movie recently and this song was great (and the movie was, too). (:

  • This is gorgeous, this movie was fabulous!

  • i agree ^_^

  • Man, I don't agree with what ost of these critics have said about the film...

This was without a doubt better than Casino Royale! I love how ruthless Bond became and I particularly like how M knew why he was fighting the organization.

  • i couldnt say so better myself fuck the critics

  • The critics I believe said that "the characters were weak and the plot was mediocre." or some BS like that.

I need to be a movie critic, at least I'd give a movie like this a decent review.

    *spoilers*

I believe the only sad part of the movie was Mathis dying.

  • i could only wish you were a movie critic you diffenetly will give a good review and give roger ebert and leanerd martin a run for there money heck every other lousy smart ass critic they dont diserve to be film critics anyway

  • Watching this movie just makes you see Casino Royale in a whole new light because you thought Mathis was a traitor and he did kind of seem like it.

But now everything makes sense with Vesper, i really love these 2 bond films

  • It sure as hell looked as if mathis betrayed james bond. I some ways I think he still did. Who else could have told lechief that bond know what his tell was. Anyway this song is awesome , very suspenseful. Still don't know what bond learned about vesper at the end of the movie when he was talking to that scum bag of a guy in that apartment.

  • James told Vesper and Mathis that he found out his tell after losing a hand, then they were playing again and Mathis says to vesper, thats le chiffre's tell

Because vesper was basically conned into doing this for Quantum, she told le chiffre they knew his tell.

He learned about that the guy makes government officials fall in love with him, only so he can get "kidnapped" and they will do anything for him

  • WOW , i haven't thought of that. That makes a lot of sense. I kept wondering why james kept saying that vesper betrayed him , but now I see that she really did. I ws so busy in the action and stuff I never really bridged the gap between casino royale and quantum of solace.. But thanks for that explanation.

  • Ok basically Vesper was doing that for Le chiffre because her "boyfriend" was kidnapped by Quantum.

That boyfriend works for quantum trying to make government officials like vesper fall in love with him so when he gets kidnapped, they give valuable information to quantum.

Sorry, i just re-wrote it because i didnt make much sense

  • Thanks , it made sense the first time. Such a great and complex story. I can only hope that the next james bond movie is a continuation of CR and QOS. I like the movies better when a back story has already been established. And james bond has a great if not tragic back story. And by the way I think that vesper got what she deserved.

  • 0:57 is such a beautiful little tune...

  • This movie was amazing...

  • i agree

  • This part of the movie, was SO amazing, the combination of the chase and the opera was.. just FANTASTIC!

  • i agree

  • this is a real bond song...fantastic

  • Thanks for uploading these these are great
