She's high, obviously, but she didn't look as bad as the camera angle and the bad lighting suggests; look at the interview taken at the same gig she looks much better [ you can it find here on YT].
Today - July 18 - is the "anniversary" of her death on July 18, 1988. My favorite of hers is the music off the album The End... "You Forgot To Answer" is so beautiful! RIP Nico!!
My favorite icon for over 35 years. I never got to see her live, but she was a lot like the woman I married. Unless you've been there, you have no idea what it's like. Hilarious, funny, drugs, magic, borderline, craziness, love of heroin, chaos. Both Nico and Mala were really cool people - we are lucky they walked the Earth.

Me too. Especially when I see footage like this. She was an incredibly unique, intelligent woman that could have done so much more with her life. She just had a lot of bad luck and got lost in this crazy world. Still a great woman though
