his sgt peppers movie with bee gees ruined him as being considered one of the best guitarists (my opinion).... as you can see...he really is one of the best
My sister and I lost our father the day Peter did this show. It will always be an important performance to us both. Kathy and I would like to thank "PeacefulEasyFeelings" for posting this song and video of Mr. Frampton.
saw him a few weeks ago in pensacola......made this song his encore....it was amazing...holding my girl while he was playing this feeling the emotion he put into it and sending it to the audience with that beautiful gibson les paul
@SpeakTruer He didn't actually invent the talk box but he sure put it to good use. I'm not sure who did but some C&W guy used it in the early 60's. Check out Peter Drake on an old Lawrence Welk Show video here in Youtube.
@stratcat250 My bad, I forgot about him finding that dude in America with it and he had the only one then & Peter got to try it out I think?,,,, But then he made it his own. He is the one that made it truly 'talk' to me! :D
@stratcat250 Yep, it's great! Is it a Les Paul he's using on that cover? It is a excellent tune and a great cover!
There is a video on here that teaches you how to make a talk box even. It was such an innovation & now you can make it from tubing and a shoe box with a tiny amp. Blows me away & I bet Frampton too!
Just saw his show in NH last night and it totally blew me away! One of the best guitarists I have ever seen in concert, and I have seen many! Peter still f'ing rocks!
Wow, what a smoking hot solo! Dang he could play a mean Les Paul! I've seen other vids on YouTube of Peter doing this song. Can't wait to see him when he comes to the Summer Concerts at Oregon Zoo shows, in August!!! It looks like this is his encore song. Sweet! I also like "I'll Give you Money," "I Don't Need no Doctor," and of course "Do You Feel Like We Do!"
f***ing awesome

Yes, it's most always a Les Paul.

Same guitar he used back in the 70's. When it rocks, you gotta hang onto it and rock it back!!
Love his guitar and his voice. Where's the talk box on stage? He invented that!

@SpeakTruer Yup, they aren't that hard to make. I have an old Heil that I don't use nearly enough. I need to break it out.
BTW Have you heard "Black Hole Sun" cover by Frampton?
