Wow this is super awesome. I'm auditioning at area this Saturday, so I was looking up videos of the all-state band to see what it'd be like, and MAN the music you guys played was freaking amazing!
I said time and again that anyone who can play this kind of literature is deserving of respect. Despite the bad recording, I can tell you handled this LIKE A BOSS!
This is one of Professor Livingston's favorite pieces to do with an All State band. I first played this piece at Interlochen with him in 1992. Great music is timeless...as are great conductors!

Ah good memories with this one. This concert was one of the highlights of my senior year. I really loved playing this piece!
