Shari Lewis was diagnosed with uterine cancer in June 1998.[4] While undergoing treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on August 2, 1998,[5] she developed viral pneumonia and died, aged 65. Her remains were cremated. She was survived by her husband, daughter and sister.

I was a baby in diapers when she was on the air with lamb chop,I have never seen her show except when it revived in 92 on pbs.She was pretty,but since her daughter revived lamb chop after sharis death I think mallory is even prettier.

I had a Tiny Tears doll and I named her Annette, after Annette Funicello. She was one of my favorite dolls and very charming and unique for the time.

I love Shari Lewis.

I was saddened of course when she passed away; mostly remebering her --from years later than this clip--from when I was young, and would see her on TV with Lamb Chop; but now I just saw her on Car 54 and her beauty was so amazing.

"I'm Lamb Chop, the kid that does nothing"... lol! Shari was so funny with Lamb Chop. Mallory, her daughter, took on her mother's legacy but she isn't half as funny or witty as Shari was with Lamb Chop, unfortunatley. May she rest in peace, Shari Lewis was the best puppeteer that ever lived.

@parachute89 I know that Mallory Tarcher, Shari's daughter, is continuing the tradition of Lamb Chop, Charley Horse, and Hush Puppy, but there will never be another Shari Lewis. Shari, we still miss you but thanks for the memories.

Don't know how she did it, I was too young to question. But I had Tiny Tears when I was 3 and I remember she really did blow those bubbles!
