My song to a girl who left me for no one, but I loved her forever. She did deserve better. She died young, and carried my heart to the grave with her.
If you like this song you will love the remix done as a tribute to Lee Tillman who also recorded a version of this song in the 1960s... All These Things Remix Tribute. Lee Tillman was also inducted in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2010 along with buddy guy, allen toussaint, art neville and louis armstrong just to name a few.
"All these Things" was{ my husband's and my} "our song"when we were dating. We actually got to be there in Coushatta, La. when the "Uniques" played in concert. The song still melts our hearts when we hear it. Thanks for posting it!
In Monroe, Louisiana in 1966 I graduated HS & danced to this song at the River Queen Drive Inn on Jackson St. at Apple ST. A favorite jukebox song that we danced to...............a favorite.
You must be a Louisiana boy. This was an "Anthem of Love" in New Iberia in the late 60's and 70's. I've played it umpteen times. It never failed to touch the ladies.
Let me add it was at the John Tyler High School senior dance, Tyler Texas (1970)
