It doesn't ring quite true that the teeth will be re-mineralizing on the outside surface. This process would be going on internally. But, great video anyway!
@RedTulie1 It's not about whether it "rings true" or not, it is true. When your saliva is alkaline and you don't have glycerine coating your teeth calcium and phosphorus is able to inlay into the teeth from the outside when chewing food. Look into the work of Karen Van Cleef and Tooth Soap. She's compiled the research of an Australian dentist who proved this.
Dr. Weston A. Price, the famous dentist and nutritionalist, discovered in his 10 year travels around the world looking for perfect teeth, saw the best teeth were people eating whole foods. The worst teeth he found were actually "modern Westernized" societies that eat white flour based foods as it's base along with processed foods. People living in the bush on natural food, with no dentist or tooth brush had great teeth! Dr. Price examined thousands of ancient skulls finding few cavities. Hmmm???
@DiaShanti Yeah, whole natural foods and animal products. But don't confuse that with whole grains. Whole grains are a little better than processed or white in general, but they are supposed to be worse for your teeth because the bran fiber contains phytic acid.
@taxivid I use baking soda with an essential oil like thyme, basil, mint, rosemary. Simple, inexpensive and effective. I'm not into brushing with soap because often it is made with sodium hydroxide as the active lye (strong akaline) which allows the oils to saponify into soap. During this process the sodium hydroxide neutralizes in it's pH, but still, I don't like the idea of the chemical. Hey, I hear Dr. Bronners soap makes a great "morning after contraceptive" when used as a douche.
Hi, thanks for the good videos!! i live in Argentina, an is dificult to buy good essential oils. this are the ones that i can find: eucalyptus, jojoba, lavender, thyme, calendula, peppermint, rosemary. Which one you recomend? Best wishes!!
@SecretsOfLongevity I'm pretty sure it's safe to use baking soda daily, if it isn't, then my teeth should be pretty damaged as that's all I use. Baking soda and a drop of grapefruit seed extract.
@SecretsOfLongevity Ur cute as hell, so I would watch it all just bcoz of that. But don't make me go through this and list all the parts you could've chopped. Making bullet points facilitates your 'points' in an organized, understandable way. No one needs to know that the toothbrush you're holding isn't the one you're talking about. That took like 5 seconds... and there are several examples of that in ur whole video. Ur still cute tho :)
Ive got a mate in Adelaide (Clint) and he eats MORE grass fed, wild, organic RAW animal products than anyone Ive met in the last 10 years and he feels his teeth are getting worse vs better. So if the 'eat fat and get great teeth' was true then my mates that eat raw animal products would have excellent dental health vs poor dental health.
Thats just my experience travelling around talking with literally thousands of people.
@durianriders Even wild animals get dental carries, just in varying amounts depending on the species and its diet. Obviously we know that the processed food industry diet results in the highest rates of cavities. Check out the book "Cure Tooth Decay: Remineralize and Repair Cavities Naturally" by Ramiel Nagel or his youtube channel "yourreturn" for his take on reversing tooth decay. Sure there's going to be some people that still get cavities, but a lot more people get helped by his work.
@donaldSWATman I don't recommend isolated supplements. It's K2 (not 3) that you want and you can get that in fermented cod liver oil, grass fed organ meats and hard raw cheeses. The other things I mention in this video series are great for remineralizing the teeth. Check them out in the drop down menu.
@jedibyotch Later in this series and also check out my recent video on flossing and brushing. I show how to brush to avoid exacerbating receding gums.
The absolute most critical part of being cavity free is a healthy diet. This means no sugar, white flour, pasteurized/homogenized dairy, conventional animal foods, refined salt, artificial sweeteners, monosodium glutamate, or unsoaked nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains. Eat 100% organic. Raw unhomogenized whole dairy, whole eggs, grass-fed free range meat, fresh vegetables, algae, grasses, soaked nuts/seeds/legumes/whole grains, small amounts fruit.
@hayrisdnet No specific brands of "healthy gum" nor any substance that works like gum, but avoid gum with synthetic ingredients and only choose ones sweetened with xyltiol and/or stevia.
@SecretsOfLongevity you are just the person I need to talk too, I'm so depressed cause I just got half of my amalgams removed and felt that it wasn't all the way done safely as it could, they replaced my amalgams with DiamondLite which is suppose to be safe but I'm finding out that of these dental fillings are toxic, is there ones that are safe that you have heard of?
@tfrenn Take tons of chlorella and zeolites (health force's Zeoforce is best) to detoxify as a safety precaution. I am not familiar with what diamond lite is but its certainly going to be better than amalgams. The best mainstream filling is porcelain. You can go to Mexico and get quartz crystal fillings which would be the absolute best!
@SecretsOfLongevity I will try Zeolites, I've tried a chlorella product before and had an allergic reaction. Thanks I had no idea about Quartz Crystal fillings, I will definitely.look into it. Thanks a bunch
@tfrenn what about Gold Fillings, if there is no mercury in them, they should be good right. And is there anyway I can get quarts crystals here in the states?
@tfrenn Gold still interferes with the bodies natural electrical biorhythms and so no I don't recommend it, although definitely better than amalgams. I don't know if quartz is available in the states or not.
@tfrenn I was not aware that porcelain had BPA in it. I live in Canada and BPA is illegal but I don't know if it is in fillings. I'll look into it and if it is in them I'll definitely stop recommending it!
in québec, they must be aged two months, not six.yeah, here, we can get raw milk cheese, l'ancetre is good cos it's packaged and available elsewhere, i eat it a lot. at marché jean talon there are more artisinal raw milk cheeses as well.
i alternate between green beaver toothpaste and one i make out of green clay, arrow root, coconut oil and anis essential oil.
@ThomasDeanNordlum Cool! The one thing I want to know is if L'Ancetre is grass fed or not, I'm guessing it's not otherwise they'd probably advertise that on the package.
@SecretsOfLongevity well, i spoke with some spokes people at the palais du congrès one time and they told me that yes, it is ( which is important to me too) but who knows really . . . I tend to believe the families who sell it on really small scale at marché jean talon than spokes people of l'ancetre. But I do like their raw cheddar fort, very good and i know an épicerie where it's less expensive than elsewhere.
If you drink a lot of green tea you have to be careful because it contains a lot of fluoride! White tea does not contain as much. Also black tea contains a lot of tannins which can stain the teeth. That is why sometimes people use black tea rinses to darken the hair. Just thought I would mention that because a lot of people drink lots of tea as I do, but you do have to be careful of the fluoride content. Tulsi Tea is a good choice or herbal teas.
oooo glad i am using neem toothpaste =D think i will change my brushing a bit... i have been using a water pick lately and it seems to really wash my mouth out more. for example after brushing, flossing, and rinsing... i used the water pick and I actually smelled that it was removing some nasty smelling stuff from between my teeth and gums. my gums bleed too and after a week it stopped bleeding. i wasn't bleeding from flossing so I suspect the water pick IS a really great thing to use. =^-^=
I also have a question on raw dairy: Where do you get yours, being from Ontario? :) I live in Toronto and current consume fresh sheep yogurt and goat milk from from 2 small dairies that do their own pasteurizing and processing at a lower temperature than government dairies. That said, I would love to try raw milk at least once...
@ChasinTranes Because it's illegal I can't talk about it, but one place I was getting it ends production in October as the goaties stop producing through the winter...
There is a brand of cow's cheese (which is legal if aged over 6 months) which has a few of their products raw (but it doesn't seem grass fed). They're called "L'Ancetre" and it from Quebec. They have raw cheddars.
@SecretsOfLongevity illegal... im sure ontario's milk marketing board is not on youtube :) ive tried l'ancetre and other european varieties like gruyere that are more likely on grass. Would you recommend cheeses that are not aged as long such as a 6 month raw milk over denser raw milk cheeses like parmigiano- reggiano?
I recently bought raw cow's milk, and I was reading all of these horror reports about e coli and listeria and whatnot. Does this always happen, and can it even happen with raw milk, or are they just scare tactics?
Flossing! My dentist said when I was younger, that if I would have flossed I wouldn't have had any cavities. I do floss now and that was 6yrs ago and I haven't had a cavity yet. I love the blend for floss, what a great idea! Thanks for getting me thinking about this again and the great ideas/info, teeth are soo important!!
