  • i like the syma one better, it just looks cooler

  • @Telsadude Yes, I agree that it looks cooler, simply because of the military design verses the civilian design. But there is an almost $200 difference between them, and Walkera is a very well built high quality brand, with a longer fly time and a further range. Since I now have 2 of these, I'm considering painting one up to look like an Army helicopter.

  • dang that is stable

  • Contest comment for the shuttle contest.I agree with you its pretty cool :D

  • If you want a bottom check out Nightflyyer, it is supposed to be spelled with 2 y's

  • i like the walkera sea knight chinook better

  • @matty6032 So do I, but you cannot find it anymore. I found one on Ebay for $799.00; not bad for a helicopter that cost $169 brand new.

  • i like the walkera sea knight chinook better

  • @matty6032 In real life I have flown in Sea Knights many times, so I do like them much better than Chinooks.

  • @BeanMeister22 Marine Corps?

  • i like the walkera sea knight chinook better

  • Cool helicopter dude, I need to get me one of these.

  • Looks like a nice flyer, and it has some size to it, too. But for that kind of bucks, they wouldn't die putting a bottom on it, both for aesthetics (after all, you're ALWAYS looking up at it), and to hold the silly battery in. That's a bit cheesey.

  • @anmoose Yes it is a pretty cool toy, and I agree with you about how bad the open bottom looks. But I did a bit of research on the topic, and I found that the bottom has to stay open to cool the 4 electric motors and the battery. They all put off a lot of heat, and they need the large volume of air flow to keep them from over heating, and possibly catching fire. Maybe I will try covering it with a dark colored mesh, hopefully that will not restrict the air flow very much.

  • nice ...

lol it looks like a flying sub marine lol

  • @RZEEJOKERRS1000 A bit like a sub:) I'm looking around on my computer to find the video I have of real Chinooks (really SeaKnights) and CH-53 Super Stallions taking off from an open field in Japan.

  • Cool, the only thing with walkera's (as you mentioned) aren't very durable. I've had 2 smaller walkera's, and pieces broke constantly. They make replacement parts for most heli's, enough to build another one. Some pieces aren't replaceable though. Pretty much all Walkera helicopters are pretty delicate. Happy flying!

  • @Legostuff74 Thanks, and yes Walkera helicopters are delicate, but really they all are. The good thing about Walkera, is that they are higher quality versions of Exceed helicopters. So far the most durable helicopter I have found in the Syma S022 Ch-47 Chinook. It is very sturdy, and costs under $50. In the last few months, I have bought more than 30 RC helicopters, and I have learned that if you want to fly them, you had better learn to repair them.

  • That is a neat helicopter. Wow thats not good. But to fix it was good. I wish I could have fixed mine. This video rocks. God bless you and your family.

  • @JoeFielding72 Thanks Joe, you do know that I am running a contest where you could try to win a Mad Hawk 300 helicopter, or a couple of the Syma S022 Chinooks like the one you had. The contest ends Aug 20.

  • That is a nice sweet looking Chinook! I have one but it made by DOUBLE HORSE its a 3 Ch S072 with lights and it is a nice flying RC same durability as the WALKERA and i believe the same size.

  • @VAND4LL I do have something special on the way, and it was even harder to get than this one. As soon as I get it, I will post a review of it, and we will all see how really cool it is:)

  • @BeanMeister22 You are the man!!!! If you want the see the one i have there is a video of it, the title of the video is (3 CH 9072 Tandem Chinook) someone flying it in side a gym.

  • @VAND4LL I checked it out, it is pretty cool.

  • @WORRO01 I'm glad yours is still flying, I have already destroyed two of those helicopters. You may notice that I filmed this outside in a park, which is very different from my other videos which are filmed inside. This was at 6 AM before the wind picked up, that is why the lighting is low. And I spilled my coffee...

  • @BeanMeister22 0600 aint nothing for a Jarhead, but spilling coffee is a federal offense to the law :)

Yeah most flying we do is limited to inside due to wind, but we do strike out for an adventure from time to time!
