  • i like it....

  • The 24v being faster than a 12v is actually true. I have a 2000 2500 24v 100% stock and a 1996 12v 100% stock and I have to say the 24 has a little not much more but a little more pep in its step.

  • @Abby391641 I believe the 24 valve is faster but I dont think they run better. They're less reliable, more expensive to work on and you can spit on a 12 valve and add power.

  • How do you like those towing mirrors? I'm thinking of getting them for my 98' 1500 5.2. Are they sturdy or do they vibrate alot when unfolded? Thanks

  • @lomira123 I love em, and they're pretty sturdy, I don't even have the brackets for them your supposed to have.Even unfolded they're fine. I just used a stack of nuts as spacers to put them on and they're still tight as a virgin.

  • @HighlandCountyDiesel Ok, Thank You very much!

  • A 24value runs a hole lot better than a 12value

  • @warewolf40 I think you mean 24 Valve and 12 Valve....not Value... or at least I hope you do. And I respectfully disagree. 12 valves don't eat pumps like frosted flakes.

  • @warewolf40 Bro, 12's run a hell of a lot better than 24's

  • definitlely a 24 lope not a 12 lope because the 12s don't run in the 1/4 mile as fast as the 24s do i know i have both and one day the lope was louder on the 24

  • @gratmcgat No idea really what your trying to say or what the Lopes and their speed has to do with this video, but if your insisting this is a 24 valve and not a 12 valve, then no it's a 12 valve.

  • @gratmcgat wtf are you talkin about 24v's run fatser the 12v's in the 1/4, you sir are a idiot

  • now that sounds good!!

  • sounds like an old detroit deisel ideling

  • How do you get it to lope?

  • @alecm94 It had a rubber fuel line towards the front of the engine on the supply side, and towards the back the fuel lines were rusted and dry rotted so it would suck in air when it was hot and collapse the rubber line and starve it of fuel. I just now had all the lines replaced so no more lope.

  • FAT PIPES!!!

  • NO ITS CUASE A RETARD PLAYED WITH SHIT HE DIDNT UNDERSTAND

  • @buzzindozen No one played with anything

  • @buzzindozen you play with your self.

  • @churd243 Hahaha

  • lol sounds like its getting ready to eat another honda buscuit.

  • @1795magicmoney1795 you stole that from another cummins video

  • Sounds like your about to drop a injector

  • Where did you get the fold out mirrors? Do they just bolt right up or do you need to make them fit? Thanks!

  • @allischalmers18 I got them off ebay theres a bunch of companys on there that sell em, just type in dodge tow mirrors for whatever year your truck is 94-2002 are the same but some have power options while mine are manual. mine were about 185 after shipping and all, and your supposed to use brackets for them which is probably a good idea but i didn't i just used a stack of nuts as spacers to make them fit. but if you do that make sure they are tight as a virgin or you might lose a $100 mirror.

  • @HighlandCountyDiesel alright cool. Thanks for replying and nice truck!

  • @allischalmers18 or try auto parts warehouse i got a pair for 130 a piece and free shipping

  • .093 and .120 are the common aftermarket line sizes. The lope is just massive amounts of fuel. And a high cc pump helps.

  • @THEmadmikeismad very true, mine will turn heads because of the lope, people think i got wicked HP when really my trucks just a piece of shit.

  • @HighlandCountyDiesel i had the opposite problem my truck ran like a bat outa hell and loped but at gas stations people would be like whats wrong with your truck?

  • @THESLEEPERify haha, i honestly still dont know whats wrong with this truck, the lines are fine, i replaced the fuel solenoid shut off, and throttle positioning sensor, and throttle spring, and had several good diesel mechanics look at it, my 6th injector is tight but actually leaking now so im guessing either that or lift pump. but it dies when it gets hot at all. so i can drive it early in the morning or late at night haha

  • @HighlandCountyDiesel yea like with my truck when it was hot outside and i got on the throttle then let off it'd die, have you tried checking the camshaft sensor? my buddies truck sounded like that and thats what his problem was.

  • whoops my bad, correction, it was the crankshaft sensor

  • @HighlandCountyDiesel check your fuel preheater, they tend to leak

  • @HighlandCountyDiesel is the motor stock, such as stock injectors, fuel lines, lift pump etc.

  • @eatmycumminssmoke the pumps turned up and the fuel play is out of it, other than that it's completely stock

  • lol, nice. I have also heard that the P pumps used on the earlier 12 valves, the lower hp models have a slight lope to them because of the came design inside the pump. Any truth to this?

  • @12VCTD I've heard that before too but im not really sure, I know you can get custom ones that aren't cheap and you can make em lope that way or replacing the stock 0.67 connector tubes with slightly bigger ones like 0.78 or 0.84 that would cause it to get more fuel and the pump couldn't keep up causing it to lope but it'd hurt fuel economy lol
