dont you just hate it when you see a comment that was made months ago and you would like to reply to but you know fine well their reply is going to be.........."made that comment months ago why mention it now" lol
While dancing on tables to celebrate the successful conclusion of Cast's Japanese tour, guitarist Liam "Skin" Tyson fell breaking his arm. This necessitated postponing their debut US tour. I worked at Polydor at the time and booked this acoustic radio tour to maintain their profile until the proper full-band tour could start.
This 1997 "Guiding Star" B-side was recorded (May?)1996 for US station WXPN/Philadelphia's syndicated World Cafe show. John Power & bassist Peter Wilkinson were in the homestretch of a hastily scheduled, grueling 25 station/15 city/20 day coast-to-coast US acoustic radio tour. John decided on the fly to do a special solo song for this nationwide broadcast. The arrangement was worked out that morning in 2-3 rare spare 20 minute breaks from doing press, traveling, etc.
