  • Not too bad for a dago bastard ;)

  • soundtrack heaven baby

  • why is it that all hollywood seems to be concerned with now is making rom-coms that nobody watches instead of masterpieces like this?

  • Just makes me feel like going around the street, smashing people's doors down and screaming: "This is a raid!"

  • ennio the master true genius

  • sean connery dieeeessss he´s a fuckin american hero yeeeahh

  • @martitit his character was irish.......

  • I remember Channel Seven using this music when broadcasting the AFL Brownlow Medal years ago

  • I'm listening at this in te first minutes of my 18th birthday.

Now, my 18th birthday is epic xD

  • amazing, beautiful, masterful

  • This is that great scene where the shipment is heading back across the border and it has to be stopped and Connery says "Oh well, as good a day to die as any I suppose...."

  • ENNIO MORRICONE = JESUS

  • 16 Touchables here!

  • @SnapperGrogan Don't pay attention to the 16 touchables, they probably listen to lady gaga or tokyo hotel. Those who don't see the beauty in Morricone's music are either deaf or musically-impaired.

  • Wonderful!!!!

  • This music in super good. Check out the music to an old movie before the untouchables, Called "Camelot" about King authur, the same sound track.

  • Morricone, IL MAESTRO!!

  • masterful

  • ricorda la vittoria di andrea cocco al gf

  • wheres the song where capone hits the guy with the bat

  • Excelente Ennio - Bravissimo

  • My second best favorite movie soundtrack of all times !!!!!!!

  • @UWhiteSpirit Which one is the best?

  • @BehnamLot : The Straight Story is my absolute favorite soundtrack of all times !!!

  • @UWhiteSpirit

Wich is your first one? :D

  • "He's in the car."

  • that's the chicago way! him and bernard hermann are my favorite movie composers.

  • I hope Ennio Morricone will live another 50 years so he can compose his beautiful music in many more films.

  • So gloriously, righteously TRIUMPHANT!! Hell, yeah!! One of Morricone's finest & most memorable!

  • I look at the crap movies due to come out this summer and harken back to June of 1987 when this all-time great movie came out! Ahh, the gold old days when they really made great movies and not this computer-graphic 3D stuff that comes out week after week, after week!

  • "What the hell!? you gotta die of something!"

  • Long Life Ennio Morricone the Greatest Composer of our Time!

  • "On the count of three."

  • meravigliosa

  • grandissimo morricone.grande musicista.grande italiano.

  • Epic.

  • Questa colonna sonora ha del divino, non è stata creata per questo pianeta.

  • this music makes me want to go out and fight crime !

  • @calojero2 makes you want to be an untouchable in a team of incorruptible agents :) and just start breaking down gang lords and criminals and bringing the fight to them.. straight on.

  • HELP me!!!! i can't stop to listen this music!!!!!

  • why do i love this soundtrack so much? because it expresses: we just get together and make it(the best). and it's unforgettable time together.

  • 14 PEOPLE GOT WHACKED BY FRANK NITTI

  • @tyrpow

Those 14 people who disliked the theme to this stunning movie are either amazingly stupid, or else they're completely deaf! I think that the 530 people who so far like this gorgeous theme know what they're talking about! Hearing this music still sends chills down my spine now almost 25 years after the movie came out!

  • @jlmusicfan57 I COULD 'VE SAID IT BETTER MY SELF.

  • What's the exacly name of this song? it isn't the main theme.

  • What exactly are you prepared to do?

  • @jewdawg99 Everything within the law lol XD

  • @jewdawg99 Everything within the law.

    And then what?

  • beautiful !

  • one of the greatest movie themes ever from one of the greatest movies ever

  • Trust a spick to bring a knife to a gun fight.

  • @lurka01 It's whop, dumbass.

  • @lurka01 i bring a gun to a gun fight >:) and shoot the henchman wearing the white suit and hat face to face.

  • This is played over the end credits

    Magnifico Morricone

    The Best!

An idea for all future releases and re-releases of films with music by Morricone

Include the soundtrack album with the DVD

  • This is played over the end credits

    Magnifico Morricone

    The Best!

  • I think Ennio is a channeler he hears the Divine and shares it with us.

  • Masterpiece!

  • Why Italian movies music and actors are the best ?

They are so lively : )

  • Easily in my personal top 5 fav. movies of all-time. Connery was well deserving of his Best Supporting Actor Oscar that year. And, IMO, probably one of Robert DeNiro's best performances in his sterling career. Explaining the importance of teamwork at the banquet to other businessmen with the aid of a baseball bat still sends chills down my spine some 24+ years later!! Ennio Morricone's haunting music only added to the greatness of this movie! Should have received Best Picture Oscar!!

  • 1634 Racine....you know i use to have a friend that lived there...

  • someday ill be as good a cop as Ness was

  • the man is a glory to the best creative power of humanity! u fucking rock enny!

  • @korkiwi: Yes. This is actually one of the greatest soundtracks in movie history. Not as good as Once Upon a Time in America, though.

  • un peu pompeux......pour un film décevant .

  • I love this one

  • Am I the only one who got annoyed by this song when it was kinda overplayed throughout the film?

  • @korkiwi YES

  • @korkiwi yes.

  • @korkiwi Definitely, not that thats a bad thing, thats just you. But it just sends my heart as well as that of the majority of viewers soaring. Don't take it personally but i pity that you actually find this song annoying, that is seriously i state of existence i would not wan't to be in. Like there are homeless sufferers of the pakistan floods who wouldn't envy you thinking that........okay, bit exagerative there, sorry ^_^;

  • semplicemene maestoso

  • genio.

  • i just got goosebumps

  • This is a really uplifting composition. It motivates me for those times when I could use something extra to get a project started.

  • Eclettico, versatile,

sempre puntualissimo in ogni sfumatura..... un genio.

    Il XX secolo e' suo!

GRAZIE e onore al M'. Ennio Morricone.

  • The best musician of our generation. Long Live, Signor Ennio!

  • Normalno, a sto mislevte VIE!

    I

  • Sadly the best thing from the movie

  • This peice makes me idk emotional of sorts

  • The BEST composer the movies have ever seen. Morricone is the best, his music was part of the movie, like a character. Simply the BEST!

  • @urboboy Agreed 100% and it is an absolute travesty he hasn't won an Academy Award for any individual score. Unfuckingbelievable.

  • Superb music for a superb movie.

  • brutal !!!

  • the untouchables forever!

  • mmi piace troppa sta colonna sonora

  • Sean Connery: "I said you're a no good member of a no good race, you lousy stinking dago..."

(Andy Garcia pulls a gun and puts it to Malone's head.)

Garcia: "That's still better than you you lousy mick."

Connery (to Kevin Costner:) "Oh, I like him."

  • Grandiose ...

  • I'm seeing him perform tonight!!!

  • One of the oft-over looked gangster films. Maligned now, but Costner knew how to put a film together back then.

  • Simply awesome.

  • Now THAT'S the way it's supposed to be done, son....

  • Incredible. Ennio Morricone is an absolute legend. I'd completely forgotten about this gem.

  • Between this and The Legend of 1900 (The Legend of the Pianist) Morricone is a god.

  • I suppowse you call "America" the United States. And where is Brazil geografically?

  • @yousuarioful geografically the Brazilian Empire of God will take over all the United Kingdom`s soil and rule all Europe for this next milenium.

    This is God´s will.

  • @AlmightyBrazil AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

  • I sense a troll, but I'll actually give you a response.

    Manifest destiny's don't work.

    Lrn2history

  • Cool story bro.

  • Even if God did exist, he spent his entire school career getting A's - so he wasn't one of the retarded ones who had to get a job as a politician.

Even if he did exist, he has no control over the stupid fat greedy bankers ruining America.

  • @AlmightyBrazil Yeah but satan loves america the most. And he's the one you have to watch out for

  • haha

  • Almighty Brazil, you made my day! Unrelated random junk posted in comments are either a hit or miss when it comes to funny, but scrolling down and reading your prophetic message was awesome. Thank you.

  • @commandoe my comment was NOT supposed to be funny

  • oh no! we will get right on that....

  • Congratulations, this is actually the most retarded thing I've seen on youtube. Your country must be very proud of you.

  • thank you my bitch

  • Every time I hear this it reminds me of the bank scene and the Canadian border scene. One of the greatest movies ever made.

  • great movie, great soundtrack!!

  • Robert DeNiro was brilliant in this movie.

  • Sorry. Yes he was and he was an amazing as Capone.

  • Morricone is the best composer of the story!!!

  • ROBERT DE NIRO is the King in the movie.

    AL CAPONE FOR PRESIDENT !!!!!!

  • Al capone is dead.

  • what is this song called?

  • My favorite composer of all time. I love untouchables and I think a great deal of it being one of my favorite movies ever is the music. It is the most integral and connected to the plot music I have ever seen in any film.

  • I hear ya. SPeaking of soundtracks that are integral to the plot I offer this...Curtis Mayfield 'Super Fly' this sound track is like a Greek Chorus...probably IMO the best matching of soundtrack to film ever...even tho I love Morricone...

  • Morricone is still alive and he looks to be in good shape for an 81 years old man. Unfortunately Sergio Leone died quite some time ago.

  • connery was king in this movie! ill always have it in my heart along with the soundtrack!

  • This should also be in the trailer for the eventual Captain America movie.

  • Back when Costner knew how to act.

  • Excuse me, he still does-check out 'Swing Vote'.

  • @Neville6000 Will do Neville, thanks.

  • This song should be played to our boys over seas on their return

  • I've heard this theme played by yo yo ma

recently. In a somewhat subtle selection

I almost drove my car Off The Road!!!

  • dude u need ur license revoked...

  • "He pulls a knife; you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital; you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way! And that's how you get Capone!"

  • @alexandermc416 or the Dwarf's way form WoW "his man pulls a knif, your man pulls a gun, he sends yours to the hospital, you send his to the morgue, THATS how you get the enemy!" :P

  • @alexandermc416 Fucking brilliant quote. Sorry for the language.

  • Here endeth the lesson

  • "I have fore-sworn myself,I have broken every law I swore to defend I've become what I've beheld and I have contempt that I have done right! Now that man is a cold blooded killer, and the only way to get rid of such men is to hunt them down!" -Eliot Ness-Kevin Costner.

  • What are you prepared to do!

  • anything within the law.

  • Cinema ad alti livelli e musica stratosferica ....

  • This theme really conveys the feeling of Ness and co overcoming Capone and his cronies despite all the odds being stacked against them.

  • Ennio strikes again - 10/10

  • listern to dark side of the moon by paul lovatt cooper brass on you tube

  • Questa la sentirei 10,100,1000 volte al giorno... L'hanno messa alla finale del Grande Fratello 9 che meraviglia... Mi fa pensare tantissimo

  • I would had spit on the TV watching GF9 and all the shit it represents, ruining a so nice soundtrack.

  • I agree, i am Italian and I think that if Morricone was still alive, he could talk like you. (siglare una merda come grande fratello con la musica di uno dei più grandi compositori mai esistiti è un delitto mediatico e culturale. vergogna!!!)

  • Actually he's still alive (born 1928).

  • Oh I never know this. :)

  • What's GF9?

  • Big Brother. In Italy we call it Grande Fratello, GF.

  • Classic Song, Classic Movie
