Harbor Freight Quick Hitch Item# 97214 (part I unboxing)

I bought one years ago & found that I needed to spread it out wider to fit the older 3 point equipment that I have. Otherwise, very handy to have on the tractor.

@crslyrn How did you spread it out? (I was 1/2 thinking I might need to do that to make it even faster to hook up implements?) The only thing I could think of is laying a bottle jack on its side to force it open

@2LateIWon I cut it in 1/2 where the 3rd arm connects & put another square tube inside it. I spread it about 2 or 3 inches if I remember right.

@edzgarage Thanks yeah I've been pretty interested too. I got such a good deal ($60.00) I figured it was worth a shot. I figure even if I have to modify it a bit once it fits there should be no more adjusting. Thanks for watching

Looks pretty beefy and well made but shouldnt it have 3 arms coming off of it ?or is this what the 3 arms attach to?

@Needmorehorsepower Yep thats what the three arms attach too. So it is always hooked up. Now (supposedly ) all I have to do is drive under them implement lift up and lock the arms down. I just know this past summer It took me 30min in over 105* heat just to switch from the brush hog to the box blade.
