its a simple as this you can do all of that for velo, but in the long run thats going to F up your arm, plus I think it would be extremely hard to throw the ball down in which case you wouldn't even pitch, slow yourself down, learn some mechanics, and locate the ball that's what really matters, look at Greg Maddux
