I'm not sure whether the Audi R8 Spyder advert ensures viewers' attention is focussed on watching a fantastic car or listening to a fantastic voice?? Each time I saw the advert I felt more and more compelled to find out who sang this piece of music so perfectly. Ellin is an excellent singer!

Ironic that a lot of people were drawn here from the R8 Spyder advert- a consumer product trying to bathe in the vicarious beauty. I'm the biggest petrolhead ever, but I don't think there is a car out there that could give the same feeling as this.

It's interesting that many people have rejected the idea of there being a God, and yet are drawn to this music. When you think of all the beauty created in music like this and the number of pieces written across the world it certainly makes you think there must be...something.

It sounds like listening to an angel sing, expressing beauty that could not possibly be described in words.

My point was there have been so many beautiful pieces written over the years in the context of praising God. Surely the inspiration for so much beauty cannot be bad? What similarly beautiful pieces have been produced inspired by the purely consumerist attitude held by many today?

Beautiful voice. If you like this then you should look up Emma Kirkby as well for some baroque period pieces. She also has a beautiful voice.

Her voice is a real revelation,purity without being bland,and real feeling for the shape,colouring and interpretation of the music.

We are lucky enough to be seeing her on June 22nd at The Royal Festival Hall(London) in Bach's Mass in B Minor(with the Bach Choir).
