So when is the case coming out? I am quite interested in using Adam as a Laptop replacement (your case with kickstand + USB keyboard will work) - all for a reasonable price. Not too long ago I spent $2000 on a windows XP Tablet PC. Times have changed :).
@nuyawker2000 for RSS? I'm using pulse and minimal reader (minimal reader mostly just for widgets). Pulse is really fancy has a great layout and lots of great features
@rambothan I was using EdenX at the time, what ROM are you using? There was no issue for me, I just installed it as usual from the market and it worked
@kavaliauskasm once Adam is rooted, and a custom rom loaded (very easily done) you have complete access to any app you could find for android. The best rss reader I've found is called minimal reader. It lets you link to your google reader account and select which feeds to display in the widget, then cycles them in custom intervals. Its a really great looking app with a lot of possibilities.
@clockcycles I thought so too until I got some replacement lithium ion batteries for my thinkpad, first batch I got I just charged from the default 40% state they arrived in and I quickly realized I wasn't getting the extended battery life I expected. After reading their user manual they recommend conditioning the Lithium Ion, not because of the battery itself, but because of a small chip that monitors and communicates battery life and health to the device.
@nosanon Yeah, that makes sense. the device itself has to calibrate to the battery's capacity. I remember that on my EVO 4G recovery has the option to wipe battery calibration information.
@swapneelkhandare Camera quality is great imo, but it depends which camera app you use. A lot of the camera apps aren't designed for the 3.2 Mega Pixels of the Adam camera and so don't take advantage of the high resolution. For full resolution I use the default camera app, and if I want to get fancy I drop the photo in an image editing app like Photoshop lite etc. Video app could use some improvement, I dont doubt this will be fixed in future updates (seems like software, and not hardware issue)
Also, people seem to be having problems with a hiss and clicking on video recording made on the Adam. Are you experiencing this? Did you have any issues getting the protective layers of film from the lens?
@davecooper1965 : Im running edenX, very good custom rom. if you need to turn in adam for warranty then you'll want to wipe it and put stock eden back on. EdenX wont break anything so long as u follow install instructions. Half the fun of android is all the custom roms out there, allowing all kinds of neat features. Haven't shot video yet, no issues at all with removing the lens protector film.
Hi, I just got my e-mail from Adam saying I can order one, but I've been researching Motorola xoom, apple ipad 2 and asus transformer.. now I have to make a decision to either say yes or no to the Adam. One thing I'd like to see is how well photos display. I'm a photographer and I'd like to be able to show my work to its best ability. Can you comment (or post a short video) to show how the albums open and if it has that 2 finger abilitiy to enlarge like ipad2? Is the Adam multi touch? Thanks
@613dawn : I'll get a video up soon of the picture tools and music apps for android. People say android tablets arent for creation but I think they're wrong. If you're main use depends on a high quality screen then I'd get the lcd Adam, I got pixel qi for ebook reading and the long battery life. Also you cant beat all the ports on Adam, no need to purchase a new adapter or cable every time you need a new function (iPad) direct hdmi out 1080p, usb read/write, mini usb, micro sd.
@MickeyStoun its a standard APK available in the market, if you dont have market you'll want to install edenX or another custom ROM. EdenX install instructions can be found easily enough by searching EdenX Notion Ink Hacks on google.

Great video! Are you running Eden? If not, what is it you're running and does installing it affect the warranty? My Adam should arrive on Monday!
