At the start of this video, an excellent summation of how free market capitalism is *supposed* to work, given mutually honorable and trustworthy parties. Unfortunately doesn't always work that way. But then, socialism (which the laughing beggar subscribes to) doesn't exactly work that well either.
I've actually said this to a boss I had once. Only it was more or less in reverse. He was more or less chewing my ass (for something I didn't do) and commented, "You're lucky I gave you this job." I replied, "Wait just a minute, let's get one thing clear: You didn't give me a Goddamn thing..." Then I proceeded to quote the duke. Oddly enough, he didn't give me any grief after that.
I smile as I watch this...I am once again 6 years old watching it at the Cheswick Theatre in Cheswick, PA with my mother...what a great movie! Thank you!
