@newera3443 Our device has a one minute timer that keeps the wheels lit after you come to a stop.We also have a manual setting called "Sho" Mode for continuous on. A lot of people using this setting for car shows.

Some states (like Texas) say (not quoting) that its against the law to drive with light outside or under the car. It creates a distractions for other drivers and may cause accidents.

@newera3443 We encourage everyone to know the law as it varies from state to state, and we do not offer legal advice. That being said, this is the GENERAL application which is pretty consistent on adding vehicle lights. Any accessory lights should not be visible from either the car ahead of you (so in their rear view mirror) or the car behind you. Unlike Ground FX under lighting, Wheel Well Lighting, Our device is inside the bowl of the wheel and is not visible, & it is less than 1 candle power.

@1SexiNici Yes you can use them in rain or snow, I doubt we would have many sales if they were not :) The GloRyder product may be relatively new but the design considerations started in 1997. This is a patented product that was designed purposely for use on vehicle wheels in all types of typical weather conditions rain, snow, etc. Check out the website for more details, this is the real thing.

@mirrorclick We receive requests to custom fit Dayton wire wheels, however it requires a trip to the machine shop to cut out the center of the knock off. We don't recommend anyone do this but some have for their show cars. They actually look very good. Cant say if it would be the same fit on an MGB.

I used to be a long haul truck driver. what I think is stupid about north america is how you can travel from one county to another one state to another an different laws apply. nothing united about it! also trucks go through weigh stations an get inspected some times.. so theres no getting away from some things.

@mirrorclick Do not place auxiliary lighting on your vehicle without checking local laws. Our point is by all means to do that, look into it. True, every city county and state all have their own regulations, that is not necessarily a bad thing as it makes for allowances as well. One thing you will not see is 18 wheelers lit up in emergency blue or red colors as they travel from state to state, they usually use amber or white, thus the example. Many use our Red / Blue colors just for car shows.

@GloRyderSales yeah I always thought the best option for under body lighting would either be all amber. or white on the front amber down the sides and red at the rear. just like the regular side lights would be those colours at those points.

here in canada the RCMP will make you take the lights off the car at the side of the road... I've heard.

@mirrorclick Interesting, not sure about Canada rules but just a comment in general here. The problems people experience when lighting vehicles has to do with How it is visible as well as the color. Ground effects kits are visible from in front and behind the vehicle. Even windshield wiper lights and license plate lights fall into this category.

Our lights are unique in that they are inside the wheels, that is to say they are not visible from the car ahead of you or the car behind you.

@GloRyderSales I'm pretty sure that's so you can see the length and it's not easy to judge length at night. Unnecessary lighting like that can be illegal in other countries too.

@IanTC12 We have actually received inquiries from shops that work on law enforcement vehicle lighting to add our wheel lights as they believe it will contribute to safety in side visibility as the vehicle approaches an intersection.

will they fit a U2-55 center cap? because ive found a few center caps smaller than others like my z-71 factory wheels center caps are bigger than the u2-55 center caps.. if they will fit a u2-55 26'' wheel then i will buy a set right now
