Fond memories with this game, it was one of the only six games I ever played on SNES in my childhood. I had played the whole game (without saves!). It is even better than Super Mario (don't know why so famous). The other games I had finished are: Super Street Fighter 2, Super Double Dragon, Super R-Type

Volcano underpass was my favourite level i also liked adventure park and Mean streets aswell

Probably the only game which ever came close to being as good as the Mario series.

Excellent graphics, slick controls/gameplay, big levels with loads of secrets, awesome soundtrack.....

The game had it all. And there was a 'level select' cheat too, so when you'd beaten it, you could go back in and have a go at finding the elusive hidden coins......

And, when you had...... go for a 100% game.

How many have done that, legitimately?

Shame the character died a death :-(

actually both are completely different games, but the game who really reminds me is Mario world & sonic the hedgehog (similar enemies and how you kill them)

It's actually from 1993. The original SNES version was released in Europe that year. The following year, it was released in USA and Japan, and also ported to other platforms like Mega Drive and Game Boy.
