@spotteddraftgal tobiano is a pattern of the white markings on a paint horse, not a breed. if both the parents of the horse are registered as aqha, one of them can even be double registered as paint and quarter horse, the foal can be double registered whether it has spots or not and coat pattern is irrelevant as a deciding factor.
