If you have magnetic pans, you can buy a magnetic sheet. Glue it before you glue the foam. Then you can switch out the pans. ;)

@subgirl apparently youre very chatty but not very bright it is BASE board not bass like the fish but base like the bottom or base of something. Ive been working in trades all my life and my father ran a lumber yard so I know my woods. Also I dont think he was aiming for colour accurate he was aiming for contrast and decoration, cut the guy some slack.

firstly: it's pronounced "b-ass" wood like the fish, not "base" like the instrument.

secondly: if you want true colour reading on the product you place in the "palette" then use a neutral non-colour. Already you can see in the video the pink foam changes the appearance of the colours placed on that side. It's "pretty" but not colour accurate.

I like the concept of the craft, but there are a few execution issues that could affect the outcome.

I loved this whole making it yourself thing. I was just wondering why u used glue instead of using a magnet sheet? I think a magnet sheet would of been a good idea then you would have to place maybe only on sheet of the foam on top of the magnet sheet this would also allow for easy removal of the tins in case u wanted to see what color u were using or to replace one you hit pan on. Either way its great :) a lot cheaper than buying one but u can make it your own style :)
