  • LED means Light Emitting Diode...which makes "diode LEDs" a rather weird phrase. Thumbs up if you hate those annoying people correcting every small mistake you make.

  • @13mordeth could you tell me where i can buy that LED kits.

Those are so much better than the one i am about to buy.

    thax

  • You should make a tron bike mordeth!!!

  • I put blue LED lights on my Z1000 but the R1 lights look so bad ass

  • awesome!!!

  • This... is sick! :D

  • That is pretty damn awesome, still prefer neons for like in a car but for a bike where its more open the elements that is defs a better option.

    good find m13 :D

  • here in INDIA every thing is legal...do wat ever u want wid ur bikes n cars

  • thats so cool!

  • They are Legal Everywhere in the world same as cars, as long as the user is not driving with them while they are functional. Now if you're in a parking lot with owners premission and they are active, the law inforcement can not touch you. Again with Store owners permission since it is private property

  • legal every where in the world if they are not turned on.When they are off no one would even know they where there.

  • Typically Illegal, but the Police won't care unless you're driving around with them on on the street.

Ont of the things I couldn't make sense of was a guy with a Kawasaki riding with red headlights. Apparently thought he was Dennis Anderson or something.

  • it is illegal in US (LA) but used allot in LA, don't understand why he would have LED lights on a bike that has slicks and marchesini wheels.

  • The bike lights are not illegal. As long as he isn't using blue, and they are not neon, its alright. Neons are illegal since they can break, and and if you break a neon light while it is on it can be very very dangerous.

  • @jbat3535 Neons/LEDs are illegal only in specific states, and some states only allow certain colors to be displayed, while others limit to like.. You can not have RED and BLUE in a sequence one right after another. There has to be 1 or 2 colors in between.

In IL its illegal to drive with them on. In IA its OK to drive with them on.

  • not allowed in germany!

  • It's 100% legal in Europe, but i don't like it. It shouts "i'm faaaaaaast!". (but in a negative way)

    Great for shows though.

  • Not in Holland, at least not when ur riding it :P

  • Yep. Neither is driving on full slick racing tires. but thats another story

  • I dont believe its legal and you will get fined heavily. Unless it matches the side of the bike and on a small scale.

orange on sides red at the back white pointing to the front.

  • M13 ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pretty awesome.. Think id just rather it glowing on the rear wheel though

  • I think its illegal in Taiwan as well. But the cops are pretty chill there, and at night nothing is closed so the streets are lit up well enough that, the strobing lights should not be that big a problem. Not like in the US where its pitch dark in a lot of places.

  • @aqwayne yeh same in the UK. LED's and neon's are illegal the have on bikes and cars

  • I love you too.

  • Take it out? Doens't matter if you have it and can't use it outside!

  • There should be pulsate option. I'd prefer that.

  • bet that rinses his battery

    great vid as always

    ROCK ON M13

  • you can have neon lighting in US, but no BLUE color anywhere, or RED color in the front of an vehicle, those by law is reserved for emergency vehicle only! I was explained by DMV after I got pull over. :D

  • @TheRepsol13 idk about where your at but in the state of nevada you are allowed to have blue

  • That would be great for night time visability, but it's illegal in the U.S. Why? I have no idea why it's illegal

  • I had a ton of led on my scooter, Used it for like 2 days then i got pulled over by the cops and got a ticket (It's illegal to use any neon glow in sweden)

  • Same here in the U.S.

  • amesome :D

  • Wicked!

  • i must have it!

  • For the road (other than showcase/competition), when placed/used properly can be a great way to improve visibility to others, HOWEVER when placed/used improperly it can be a possible distraction to the point of being hazardous....such as when on strob and/or official emergency colors are used or if placed in a way that it's directed at eye level.

BUT on an aesthetic stand point, when placed in well thought spots on the bike, it can look AWESOME! Like this one. XD

    Thanks for another great vid!

  • heh that's pretty cool

  • Whhhatt?!

  • all that sweet, pure performance superbike needs now is a 15" sub in the centre of each rim :P hehe

  • total fail

  • Sorry but LEDs on superbikes is total crap:) did i say gay? love the vids as always.

  • yo man im interested, im a recent viewer of your videos and I can see you are white and Canadian, and your son appears to be part Chinese, and you live in Taiwan...

so how does a white canadian decide to go to taiwan, learn chinese (presumably from scratch) and settle there, get married and permanently live there?? what made you do it man

  • @Stefan2SERB youll get answers if you buy the private series

  • what private series?

  • @Stefan2SERB ask mordeth13 on hi website . he`ll know ...

  • That would be sweet on my HD, go with my boogie lights!

  • that have slicks on?

  • Nice....one of the guys I ride with has lights like these on his CBR600

  • Thats tight man

  • good comment if u think m13 should get these on his bike???

    wud look awesome XD

  • That's sweet man, you'd look like a tron light cycle at 300kph

  • nice outro i like it

  • ANYTHING to increase rider visibility ... i LIKE!

  • Cops dont like it though :P

  • kewl stuff, too bad it's probably illegal in most countries... but w/e, for show when your parked, it should be fine... too bad there's no shots of it while it's moving....

  • Nice!

  • coolo * * * * *

  • owige

  • woaa, sick

  • oh my god, such LED setup is so illegal here in germany, the police would immediately shoot at that bike.

  • ach scheiss drauf, am treffen oder wenns geparkt ist kommt des geil!

This would be dope for Motorcycle shows and wenn sitting at the Ice Cream parlor at night!

  • showin off my bike with a banana split! no better way to go then that man!!

  • nah spaghetti

  • yes???

  • hmm... i never thought about that. i will make that an option ;)

  • That is cool. Bit late but would've been festive a month ago too.

  • when are you gonna do a new tutorial on how to ride a bike?

  • cool, more this type vids please?

  • That's sweet!

    is it legal though?

  • people might get distracted

    'oooooooh the pretty lightsssssss'

    then crash

  • Flashing emergency lights are illegal. Red, Blue, white flashing. If its static red or blue then its fine.

  • Here in the UK you can't have blue lights or reflective material on your vehicle (doesn't matter about flashing or if they're even switched on - if they're mounted/plugged in they're illegal)... as far as I know, all the other colours are OK though (if not I'm sure someone will be along to correct me soon).

Personally I'd just keep it on static white. Looks cool, and probably a good safety feature - I'm surprised you don't see it more often actually.

  • he is in taiwan i think so it doesnt matter. i dont think there was white anyway

  • @JooKed I thought red was illegal

  • Possibly, but the cops in my area (Lancaster, PA) don't care if its flashing both red and blue with a siren going off in the background :p Haha probably not so much the siren, but I have a $100 kit that does 17 colors, flashing or fading, and I've used every combination with no hassles from the po.

  • damn bro i grew up in lacaster how is it down there nowadays??

  • im not down with riding on a christmas tree.

  • Not meaning to pick bones, "new diode LEDs" - LED stands for light emitting diodes :P

  • very cool

  • My bike only has blue on/off, i feel so cheap...

  • omg that minted!

  • I love this! I wish I could put it on my bike :\.

  • why dont you then? they cost about as much as a pack of peanuts....

  • thought it was illegal for any lights to be on other than the required e.g. brake lights and head lights

  • Here it's illegal to have flashing lights i think so XP

  • I think they are illegal in Australia :/

  • why is that illegal??

  • Because other riders/drivers will look at you and crash they bike/car somewhere :)

  • WTF thats just fucked up xD wahaha that would be funny to watch

  • arnt all asian countrys lit up like the fourth of july lmao? im sure they dont mind a couple of leds

  • They call it a "distraction" and it may cause accidents.

  • Set it to absolutely strobe all colours.

Strap a boom box to the back of the bike then rave it, HARD.

  • Those are awesome.

When I get a motorbike I'm gunna get those just for visibility.

  • a more useless potential for these LEDs is actually increasing the visibility of the BIKE itself even more from the sides therefore better at the night time for probably reduced crashes.

  • it will probable cause more crashes due to people looking at them while driving

  • everyone will have them soon then it will be lame like neons under cars

nice to see tho for the 1st time

  • @crabyars wrong on motorcycles is way more sexy on cars is lame.

  • for now maby

    personal prefrence i guess

  • Whats illegal about it? I see motorcycles with undercarriage lights all the time.

Is it the LEDs that are illegal?

  • @mabutoo In northern Europe for example you can't have any neon or led lights. I don't really know why.

  • Damn, that sucks. I don't know what my local laws say about it (Virginia), but cops don't bother the riders with them so I guess its cool.

I think it makes you more visible and that has got to be a good thing.

  • Yeah they are great until the wires wear down and rub against your frame causing it to earth, short circuting and then blowing your dash, pumps twice as many volts through your alternator causing it to fry and then blowing a cell on your battery. . . Use heat shrink tube and be sure to fit a 5volt fuse box just to be safe.

  • interesting

  • Where can you buy them?!

  • like a beacon saying: " LOOK I am a expensive modded bike, please steal me"

  • Illegal in the UK :(

  • only if your moving or on a main road then its illegal.

  • .....

  • Like it says in the description you can leave them on while parked for as long as you want (less than 12 hours). Would look cool your Ninja on the promenade changing colours like that.

  • I agree. But it's illegal. Even stationary.

  • Depends where you are, i have green ones on my black bike and I get Random breath tested and they comment me on them saying how much the like them, then you go into a different state here in AUS and they are illegal to even have em fitted. different states different laws.

  • this

  • isint there a seiziure mode on those LED light?

  • ricer

  • fucking cool

  • that was the greatest laugh of all time lol

  • nice

  • I've never been in much favor of led lights pointin downwards like that. But 1 thing I'd sure as hell love to see, is real strobes pointing forward, to attract attention when riding aggressively at night. (or daytime, just need extra strobes :)

  • lol i saw thoes lower power LED things at the NEC motorbike show!

  • Instead of using LED lights I would go do my own thing and use Chirstmas Lights LOL

  • He has track tyres on... lol

  • The fade effect was really cool

  • very cool!

  • Bikerboyz meets fast n furious

  • Nice bike! You should do a wheelie vid....

  • Those are some slick tires....

cool LED's but too many colors. 1 color and not THAT shinny would do a nice effect

  • neon lights for the bikes. hella sweet.

  • You could pick a color that best suits your riding style each day... Blue for "I'm feeling relaxed, smooth and slow" and red for "I'MA BLOW YA'LL AWAAAAY"

lol Brown for when youre about to fall off.... No need for an explation lol

  • wow nice tires.... and lights!

  • Not gonna lie, must look really cool on the road :D

I'd definitely stare at it and forget I'm driving :D Needs more RAVE though ;)

  • nifty

  • pretty fucking sweet

    -sheep

  • It'd be sick like Ghost Rider if you turned the wheels to red while you were riding down the road at night :)

  • kick ass man, thanks for sharing! would love to see one of those bikes ride in the night

  • i have led's in my bike in australia and it helps people see you at night and so far the cops have just said it is a good idea to be seen a bit easier. as long as they stayed the one colour that is.

  • that's really cool, but what is the point of it?

  • Too look cool dude...do you need another reason?

  • nice

  • Nice, but it's really just a cop magnet.

And an R1 in Taiwan? I dunno...

  • @xinheng If you look at the tire you can see that it doesnt have the little tread divets, but is rather just bald, thus track tires. Its probably his track bike.

  • i hope he can set it so they turn off when he turns his bike off. i wonder if this is legal in the states. i have seen some choppers with them but idk

  • this think is ok for like 5 min, after that it sucks

  • That is just to encourage bike thief to favor your bike : " Look! Here! Over here! Steal this shiny good looking color changing bike "

  • all i can say is

    TITS!

  • strobe and flash were so disappointing compared to what i was expecting!

  • mordeth13 RULEZ

  • I have a similar kit for my car, very fun ^_^

  • That is what I call bike porn. Mmmm...

  • Lol bike porn o.o

  • That looks like a fun thing to have. Pick a color, go out night riding around town. Put on a light show. :P

  • MOAR LED BIKES!!!

  • Thats awesome!

  • These are awesome, though I don't think I could get away with it being cool on my little 125 rofl.

  • Kinda corny. But to each their own I guess.

  • leds are sick... i could save wear and tear on my bike's charging system if i converted it over to led

i think i totaled it to being a 45w savings with just the brake lights on

  • @CjChronos If you read the video descrip, they use very little power.

Anyways been watching for a while M13, love the vids.

  • Thank you.

  • @13mordeth Youtube should add a 6 star rating, because you deserve it.

  • Yum. That bike is hot.

  • read the description -_-

  • idk y but R1 guys allways like to pimp out there bikes. but they do look nice.

  • nice, look like the ones on my car.

  • That's sick!

  • Is it road legal? I assume that's a track bike because of the slicks.

  • It would be road legal anywhere in the world......if you just use the lights when parked.

  • yeah i think red is legal b/c it is the same as the brake light.

Yeah and when u use the LED's while parked they can talk!! They are saying "STEAL ME!! Steal me! steal me...."

  • If i remember, in Thailand you can't have a bike over 400cc right? R1 has not chance of fitting in there! Correct me if im wrong

    Awesome lights tho

  • wow, that's so cool.

  • Haha thats awesome

  • @RHCPfan, fail.

  • Wish I had that on my bike
