That makes perfect sense; there is no point in practicing a follow through if a golfer can't make it back to the ball correctly in th first place.

He's totally right about the follow-through being AN EFFECT of a good swing and not the CAUSE of one. Pros who instruct beginners to 'pose the follow-through' without describing the main actions that get you there are a joke.
