  • The picture comes to life in front of you,such a simple but effective way of painting.Found it gave me lots of ideas I would have never thought of.

  • Beautiful work. I remember reading Audubon used watercolor, gouache and pastels in his bird illustration. The pastel gave softness to feathers. His plates show he used pastel for the soft background as well. You have shown how well they can complement each other.
