TSW.. B&S..Tera... All these games look really cool in ways that their changing around the genre just a little bit, all look very pretty and seem solid.. but it's hard to be excited for any of those 3 after researching the upcoming powerhouse that is Guild Wars 2
No i'm not a fanboy, i played gw1 for a week and hated it, not what this is about.
After researching every next gen mmo to the necessary extent it is just incredibly clear that NOTHING will even come close to competing with GW2

You dont have to interact with other ppl... well with the Dungeons and raids you have to have communication. The new Star wars MMO if you love story, and character development and what not.. your gonna love it! Bioware did a good job it.

@kDeviLXIII I'm gonna play both tbh. I love guild wars 2, and a fan of their art direction. But TSW offers also something different: contemporary setting, conspiracy theorist-type storylines, no class no levels. It has some pretty good things going for it and it might be like an "underdog yet working" mmo for this year. And since GW2 won't have a sub, I'll be able to play both with no long-term extra charge :)
i played vanilla wow on a private server recently because i was tired of being called a wrath baby, and i gotta say swtor beats the fuck outta it, and yeah its a shitty game but i honestly don't see anything better for now

@nickyrospapa You cannot compare WoW to SWTOR; WoW has open world while SWTOR is instanced in small zones with no "planetary" feel at all. WoW was much better at it's release than SWTOR; which is crazy bugged, choppy and very shallow.
Some ppl, like your friends, are so fanboi that they will never admit SWTOR's flaws; thats why they will live in eterna denial.
@Imbalaya im not saying both MMOs are anything alike...but im giving TOR a chance to make up for the bugs and so on, again its been only a month. I predict if they dont fix the issues it will wind up free 2 play, which isnt necessarily a bad thing since Free 2 Play has been known to increase the plays. If this game had a different name and a different company making it, the game would have been a big flop. SWTOR is a truly disaster. Such a big IP gone waste.

@TupikWolf I should probably point out that the first time I saw this trailer was when it was first released, and I was unaware that it was an MMO until recently, since the genre in the description is just RPG. Knowing now that it is an MMO, and seeing the screens has unfortunately made me even less interested in the game, oh well.
My whole gripe was that the tone the trailer setup for the game initially seemed interesting, and then they fucked it up with generic overdone bullshit.

@PSNBloodraid Which mmorpg doesn't involve any of the elements of magic, guns, swords combat etc. What can you suggest to happen in the trailer? She turns around and offer that thing a sunday roast? Jump in and wrestle and bite him? Maybe Sims is your type of game, you can walk around in corridors and open doors. What would you like to happen?

@TupikWolf I should probably point out that the first time I saw this trailer was when it was first released, and I was unaware that it was an MMO until recently, since the genre in the description is just RPG. Knowing now that it is an MMO, and seeing the screens has unfortunately made me even less interested in the game, oh well.
My whole gripe was that the tone the trailer setup for the game initially seemed interesting, and then they fucked it up with generic overdone bullshit.

I haven't seen a lot of mmo's based on the real world, with a triple faction system based on modern real-world mythology like the Illuminati.
