He also was growing dissatisfied with the music industry and I think felt used and burned out. He put out his music for several years and then he just decided to take time out and live a normal life. Can we stop this crap. Tea for the Tillerman was released in 1970 when I was in H.S. It seemed to me Buddist in nature. The Vietnam war was killing hundreds a week and this was a welcome change from the hard rock of the time, which I also loved. To bring you back to then I would quote some bumper stickers of the time. for a simple vocal/guitar piece, there is a truly great dynamic here, I'd say almost dramatic, and it's always been one of the most inspirational things I've heard in music. I think the way it is underlined by those knocks on the guitar just adds a dimension to it that is truly a work of art. Cat is a true artist.

I renounce Christianity due to it's bad aspects, and I would have hoped someone with those songs in him would do the same when Islam became a cruel aggressor.
