My daughter harvested her first deer last year w/ a Misson Menace (simalar to the Craze). She pulled 35lbs w/ 26in draw length and acheived full penetration at 37 yrds (the Full Hunt is on my Channel). Good to see more young ladies taking up the great sport of archery!

@LuckyYogi She was 14. She is really wanting a new Bow Tech but thinks saving for a car is a better idea! We have yet to bag a Turkey, they always seem to bust us trying to get ready for a shot and BOLT! We have a HUGE deer herd in MO and every member of my household gets 4 archery (3 rifle) tags (1 any deer 3 antlerless) plus 2 archery Turkey tags. The good thing as a land owner, they are free!

Lengthen ur DL your right arm should be fully extended you will shoot more acurate and it will be faster. Hope thiss helps and great shoting!

nice video i don't lie in SAN DEIGO but aim going there soon so maybe will see you there i shoot a PSE bow madness X 50 to 60 pounds, a 50 pound MARTIN pantera, aPSE TAC 15i crossbow, and i have 8 HOWRD HILL longbows 1 is 80 pound draw and 1 is 68 pound draw and the rest are 45 pound draw, they are all left handed shooters because I'm blind in my right eye so i had to learn to shoot lefty its not as hard as i thought it would be but I've been blind since i was 4 1/2 and I'm 26 1/2

Yeah I know where it is now. I throw discs at the park next to it. I saw a couple guys shooting bows and thought it might be cool to try, so I got one. I just thought it was regular old round targets and bails of hay, not like this. I'm all psyched to go now! It's always fun to get into something where you have to develop new skills. There's also a parking lot in front of the range. Weekends its hard to find parking because....well its in the balboa park. Everyone and their grandma comes here. Dang I haven't shot in a month. Really need to site my bow now that I think of it...

@LuckyYogi i work at a pro shop and i am head of the archery department i know almost anything you need to know about archery although i do like the passion the jewel is a much better bow you should look into it its got a faster ibo more kenetic energy transfer and also has a much smoother draw

@dsherbon trust me, i know all the bells and whistles on the jewel. I agree its an awesome bow and quite fast. it was tested at 60lbs rather than the typical 70. that's pretty impressive. yet im not about to drop nearly 2grand on another bow when i just got mine. if i started all over again, yeah a jewel would be cool.

@LuckyYogi trade in or sell if you can get probably 3/4 of your initial price out of it if you are smart enough to market it and the jewel says it was tested at 60 pounds for ibo but ask mathews my rep said that even at 29 inches and 70 pounds that ibo is unachievable and have yet to chrono this but its probably true look at the cam compared to the z7 cam series its the same cam just softened up so no way it could be any faster

@MrShafenasty I passed my course last weekend. My first hunt will be at red mountain to hunt chuckers, not this weekend but the next. I'd like to hunt a turkey first since thanksgiving is around the corner :) that would be so cool. turkey on the table and i can say, " yeah, see that. I caught that bad boy." and i'd have that good feeling that my abilities are what are providing for my friends and family.

Im also a lefty. The bow is awsome, and the distance is very far, and it sounded like you hit it, so Im very impressed. But you should work on your form, like the way you have your right armed curled up, keep it straight and you will build up more muscle jeje. Im posting videos soon, so keep a look out.

Cleaned up and placed 2nd in 3D unmarked yardages competition and 3rd in bowhunter freestyle class in king Arthur tournament. I shoot with compound and stick bow (trad. Recurve/long bow) but, I rather shoot trad.

My opinion. In archery, taking it to the limit in skill and having fun is Traditional, no sights no releases. Stick & String

@stikbohunta traditional is intense. you must have some crazy skill. There's an elder guy who shoots at the shop with a traditional recurve and he can his the bulls eye's from 20 yards. He "feels" for the target with his arrow.

@Buzzywuzzys The passion bow works well. A big difference from the craze. I'll load a review after a month or so. The craze is a great bow to mess around with for sure, but the passion bow so far excells on speed and performance. Ask your wife to test one out in the shop. She won't be disappointed. In fact, afterward, she'll have dreams of the passion bow and end up buying it...bc that's what happened to me. haha

Looks like you need to add about an 1.5" to you draw length. You'd get more speed and a flatter trajectory. Not to mention a more stable anchor. My wife shoots the Craze as well. Great bow. Cool vids

@Buzzywuzzys I actually returned this bow a month ago because I was unhappy with the performance and grew out of it pretty fast. I shoot a passion mathews bow now and with a draw of 24.5 pulling 45 lbs. Really great bow. Been increasing the weight since I haven't had any trouble yet.

a rinehart foam target is something you should consider for home use with your bow if you really get into it...they're so quiet to hit with your arrows.
