  • Was this that gig in a town hall or church, (Not the salisbury one) when there was a comedian supporting them? That was truly magical. Literally, genius, terrifying and warming, all things, these things, in my hands. Thanks so much for putting this up. Like everyone else, it makes me cry. then I make a mess. It's disgusting. Miss them so much. Wishing Tim all love and light and strength.

  • @dramaticuslionus I remember the gig they did with a comedian for support, an old boy if i'm not mistaken, but cant think for the life of me where that was ?

  • @metric1977 It was out Strawberry Hill way, back when Tim and Sarah lived in Kingston. They actually debuted some killer songs that have gone on to be classics (Can't remember which ones) and then they were selling Mister and Mrs Smith and Mr Drake at the shop afterwards for the first time. A stunning gig. By the end, we were all in tears, holding these things in our hands. NOTHING BEATS WHAT THIS BAND DOES. We love you timmy!!! PS Metric, respect to you brother/sister/tiny hooved creature xx

  • Beautiful, I love the Cardiacs. Only seen them once, in Sheffield. Awesome!

  • This makes me cry, always a perfect end to a perfect gig,

saw them with this line up last at the Marquee 1988, magical and lovely .

  • Get well soon Tim Smith, your little fishes in the pond need you .

  • jibber that mucky pain will get easier.....probably.

  • I really wish I was alive then

so many cardiacs gigs missed simply due to a lack of existing.

  • word

  • I am crying too ! ...... the memories come flooding back, those gigs in the 80s were untouchable ..... Beautiful

  • a tear comes to my bleary bloodshot eyes

  • no one on this earth can touch this band then or now they are unique and always will be

  • Amen to that!

  • Not on any copy I've ever seen - you're probably thinking of the little Eraserhead song, which is played in a similar way.

  • Yes, 'everything is fine in heaven'

  • as far as I remember it's also on Toy World CS from 1981

  • Well... you're right! I haven't played that for yonks, so either I'd completely forgotten, or I never discovered the hidden track. Thanks, Zombiegod!!!

  • It's on SEA NYMPHS - APPEALING TO VENUS CD EP on ORG. Even though it's not credited on the track listing!!!

  • thank you

  • Well, that's news to me.... details, please?

  • This song was on one of the Org CD's that came out way back.
