i think the reason they arent getting any players is because when it says "Create new account" it goes to a page that says internet explorer cannot blah blah blah. i posted a on a forum of some sort (i forget where it was) and i got over 500 replies of people having the same problem.

I've been playing this game for 5 and a half years. It used to be a great game. Then, they did the CU. A few months later they really messed it up with the NGE. It's been bad ever since.

It is an MMORPG, so an massive multiplayer ONLINE role player game and its fun.

So it is like Guild Wars in some ways. But if you decide to buy it I wouldn't do - a new star wars MMORPG - remind a better one - releases ~2010-2012 so imho its not worth to buy it because it is like World of Warcraft that means you need to pay monthly for it.

@h3llsc0rpi0n I wouldn't recommend buying this even if there wasn't one coming out. the release of the NGE killed the game. When an immense population of your veteran players cry out not to release something and you do anyway and they leave it tends to do that. So screw sony online entertainment. They have a swgEMU now which is star wars galaxies before combat upgrade.

This vid is really misleading as this is only the training area. After this you'll experience no vocal dialogue anywhere else in the game.

NGE ain't too bad but not as good as the CU. Pre-cu was probably too hardcore but CU was ok. NGE is aim towards the people that don't have all day to play, which in some ways isn't bad, but the NGE has ruined the professions. There was more choice before and Jedi aren't anywhere near the power they use to be.

Star wars Galaxies or Star Wars The Force Unleashed? Force Unleashed I got on PS2... For SWG I got a good pc, but I don't think, that it is the reason, why its laggy. I think the lag is by the server.
