Most likely a capacitive, multitouch support touchscreen. At least, that's what I've heard and hope for. I'm getting this instead of an ASUS N10 Netbook.
I'm pretty sure it's still a two-button mouse because I have an eee pc with this type of mouse button, too. It's a rocker that moves left or right depending on which side you press.
They are decent for sketching, since the electromagnetic surfaces are all manufactured by Wacom. They offer 512 levels of pressure sensitivity and the same reactivity one would experience with a Cintiq... at one third the price.
Sure, a separate tablet would be superior. But one would have to sacrifice the compact form factor for slightly better tracking of the stylus. It's all about the convenience!
People have created masterpieces using the tiny screen of the DS, so this one isn't too bad.
your a dipshit its so that when You close it you can turn the screen around so that you can still view it and use it as a Graphics tablet you dipshit, and didn't you see the smooth movement of it turning, You'd only brake it if you had the intellect of a 5 yr old.
I wish I could give you a thumbs up and a thumbs down because Apple Air isnt a netbook its just their thinnest Notebook and the Apple Sheep thing was right.
annoying intro.

Okay but whatever why did apple put a glossy screen on the ipad or iPod touch/iPhone huh who's not "sexy" anymore
widenmaierb109 1 year ago
I've got one. Fingerprints aren't that noticable. I think it was just the harsh lighting that made them stand out in this video.

just wondering is it capacitive (and support multitouch) or resistive/pressure sensitive touchscreen?

Where do I send the check? Wish this was a consumer product, I would totally buy it.

Single button mouse, I noticed. Going the route of apple... multi-touch trackpad, single button... simplicity: I like it :)

Wrong.
A-Sis....
THAT is the correct way to say it.
Digikid2007 2 years ago
Nope. An Asus rep has said it is pronounced A-soos. It's dumb, but it's official.
CDNChaoZ 2 years ago
Asus comes from the word Pegasus. The chinkers don't pronounce Pegasus the same way we do, so I think it's fine to say Asus English style.
I want to slap anyone who says A-soos.

Fingerprint magnet... Not sure about scratches, though. The screen doesn't look too grainy, but I'll have to wait for the review.

why do ppl need a tablet pc?
they're not even good for drawing, u'd be better off with a mouse or a separate tablet

apple does have a netbook u fuking moron.
Its the apple air. Look at the specs on the air. Same as the main stream netbooks.
Its the slowest apple in their current line up.
Yet another apple sheep with nothing in his head but baaa baaaaaaa baaaaaaaaaaaa.
apple ripped the keyboard from sony sooo many years back.
Oh my god it smudges oooohhh noooo's.
Apple = good products but the majority of the apple sheep are fucking zombie morons. Apple this apple that...baaaaaa baaaa baaa
sprintrjm 3 years ago
hey baaaaaa aaaaaaa aaaaaaa ;) air is not a netbook it's a thin laptop.. Netbooks are 9-6inch screen with an Intel atom or via processor.

kilimats02 3 years ago
Will it support multitouch for windows 7?
britrb32 3 years ago
this one is not multitouch, multitouch is a different technology, you need the right hardware to support it
kilimats02 3 years ago
Thanks for the quick reply :) I'll wait for a multitouch tablet to come out in the near future then :)
Have fun all,
Brian :)
britrb32 3 years ago
not much advantage over normal touchscreens, makes zooming and rotating easier, not much more.
I'll get this EEE touchscreen and make a dual boot with Leopard and Vista, the dream machine !

Yeah!! Finally, a touchscreen EEE PC. Now I don't have to buy the touchscreen kit thing to install it.

First. lmao jk jk. Asus's triple e's are amazing! Even with their incrediably small form-factor they still pack a minor punch. Me like! =Pp
