  • annoying intro.

  • i can't believe they discontinued this.

  • looks better than ipad to me

  • Okay but whatever why did apple put a glossy screen on the ipad or iPod touch/iPhone huh who's not "sexy" anymore

  • I've got one. Fingerprints aren't that noticable. I think it was just the harsh lighting that made them stand out in this video.

  • Why on earth did Asus put a glossy finish on a TOUCH SCREEN... do you see all the fingerprints on that? Not exactly sexy anymore...

  • I think so, too!

  • @nr98001 u right! okay, i wouldn't say "sexy" but the fingerprints... :-S

  • i am annoyed by the intro!

  • when can i buy a t101 please?

  • ill buy now

  • u cant afford it

  • loll, pretty sick.

  • Is this going to be released?

    I want one so bad!

  • just wondering is it capacitive (and support multitouch) or resistive/pressure sensitive touchscreen?

  • Most likely a capacitive, multitouch support touchscreen. At least, that's what I've heard and hope for. I'm getting this instead of an ASUS N10 Netbook.

  • Where do I send the check? Wish this was a consumer product, I would totally buy it.

  • Single button mouse, I noticed. Going the route of apple... multi-touch trackpad, single button... simplicity: I like it :)

  • I'm pretty sure it's still a two-button mouse because I have an eee pc with this type of mouse button, too. It's a rocker that moves left or right depending on which side you press.

  • say it with me AH-SOOS E

    not A-SOOS TRIPLE E lol

  • Nope. An Asus rep has said it is pronounced A-soos. It's dumb, but it's official.

  • Asus comes from the word Pegasus. The chinkers don't pronounce Pegasus the same way we do, so I think it's fine to say Asus English style.

I want to slap anyone who says A-soos.

  • The screen is so fatty.

  • you're fatty

  • Lawl.

  • lol

  • hows the battery life now is my question

  • Does anybody know what the t101 will cost?

  • If there is going to be such a glossy screen that would be a problem....finger prints all over the place if you don't use a stylus

  • in built webcam ?

  • wondering the same...

  • yes, it does have a built in webcam

  • lol. "triple e"....its eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bro

  • i've been calling it the "triple e" also. Damn Asus and thier unpronounceable products.

  • wow cool...

  • I don't mind buying one of these.

  • ZOMFG!! look at all those fingerprints!! lolololol!!

  • too true!

  • Comment removed

  • Fingerprint magnet... Not sure about scratches, though. The screen doesn't look too grainy, but I'll have to wait for the review.

  • why do ppl need a tablet pc?

they're not even good for drawing, u'd be better off with a mouse or a separate tablet

  • They are decent for sketching, since the electromagnetic surfaces are all manufactured by Wacom. They offer 512 levels of pressure sensitivity and the same reactivity one would experience with a Cintiq... at one third the price.

Sure, a separate tablet would be superior. But one would have to sacrifice the compact form factor for slightly better tracking of the stylus. It's all about the convenience!

People have created masterpieces using the tiny screen of the DS, so this one isn't too bad.

  • you mean gentoo linux

  • this one must of suck it will get broken very fast u can turn ur screen around... idiots noob computer

  • na im pretty sure asus know what there doing.

  • your a dipshit its so that when You close it you can turn the screen around so that you can still view it and use it as a Graphics tablet you dipshit, and didn't you see the smooth movement of it turning, You'd only brake it if you had the intellect of a 5 yr old.

  • cool

  • LOLOL look at the shiny finger marks

  • la pantalla esta llena de las jodidas huellas de dedos, no me compro eso ni loco, por dios!! menuda porkeria de pantalla jodeeerr

  • the keyboard from the first one is a rip off from apple ...

  • actually sony invented that style of keyboard in the 90's

  • netbooks are cheap, if apple invests there netbooks wii dissappear..

  • hey baaaaaa aaaaaaa aaaaaaa ;) air is not a netbook it's a thin laptop.. Netbooks are 9-6inch screen with an Intel atom or via processor.

  • tht doesnt mean air is a netbook because it isnt

  • I wish I could give you a thumbs up and a thumbs down because Apple Air isnt a netbook its just their thinnest Notebook and the Apple Sheep thing was right.

  • if you notice how all the manufacturers are using the apple look.

  • wow take a look at all those fingerprints... :(

  • Just what I was looking for!! This is perfect for Windows 7 touch features.

  • x2, I hope it will have the Atom dual core

  • Will it support multitouch for windows 7?

  • this one is not multitouch, multitouch is a different technology, you need the right hardware to support it

  • Thanks for the quick reply :) I'll wait for a multitouch tablet to come out in the near future then :)

    Have fun all,

    Brian :)

  • not much advantage over normal touchscreens, makes zooming and rotating easier, not much more.

I'll get this EEE touchscreen and make a dual boot with Leopard and Vista, the dream machine !

  • Asus RULES!!

  • Yeah!! Finally, a touchscreen EEE PC. Now I don't have to buy the touchscreen kit thing to install it.

  • First. lmao jk jk. Asus's triple e's are amazing! Even with their incrediably small form-factor they still pack a minor punch. Me like! =Pp

*DISCLAIMER* I fully realize I was not the first comment.

  • I came.

  • Is the tablet of any use?

  • Do you guys enjoy humiliating yourselves?
