  • Thumbs up for 0:30 XD

  • They should use that tactic in Afghan.

  • general shepard=David Patraeus

  • Nothing about poor Carter getting liquified by an obelisk.

  • I liked this mission a lot. Nothing like playing in your own country.

One thing about the point of conflict: Trieste (Trst) is actually in Italy. It used to be a part of Slovenia but was anexed to the italians after WW2. Hopefully no polititian cought his kid playing this mission.

Thank you Westwood for contibuting to the recognition of our country.

  • from this point where sheppard returns, the missions get more fun.

  • If I remember correctly, the entire terrain was covered with turrets, that was a lot more annoying 4 me,later on I just stuck small squads of tank n soldiers on where the turrets were...

It really annoyed the hell otta NOD

  • @dedmonds1988 nah, earlier on it was more tense like from this point on here u felt the GDI has won anyways.

  • I would've loved to see the look on Kane's face when he found GDI fooled him.

  • He knew.

  • Can someone please tell me why the player puts up with the UN being responsible for all the soldiers dying because of lack of UN funding? I mean: it really was very hard to take on Nod with two nickles and a penny...they could've given you some more help or given you the heads up on the fake cutting of the funding...

  • Or better yet, piss on the UN and just set up loads of Tiberium Refineries and just reap the whirlwind like NOD does. NOD gets most of it's funding through Tiberium Refining. Course, like every good religion, NOD has donations and stuff too.

  • That's what GDI did. All those refineries you set up between mission 5 and 10 was the sole thing keeping GDI running.

  • plus, according to PlanetC&C canon, the UN released press statements saying funding had been cut, but in actuality, since the UN wasn't actually against Sheppard, as he tells you here, funding had been strengthened. this was done to "lull Kane into a false sense of security," exactly as Sheppard briefs you on here.

with Kane believing he had won, he launches his global blitzkrieg, but when his forces were smashed, he was unable to stop GDI's counterattack, launched around the time of this op

  • OMG YAY!!! I always used at least 15 orcas from hear on out, nothing can stop you then, not even sam sites

  • yeah this is good mission on gdi because you can build orcas!

  • yay, fantastic design of the orca.

i wonder: Where is the "NO, NO! THE GDI DOESNT KILL LITTLE CHILDREN!" video of sheppard?

  • It's up now, under the name "Sheppard's press conference". Good catch. I had completely overlooked that one.

  • GAH.

When I played CnC all I ever got was a three-missio demo and this was one of them.

I miss that stuff SOO MUCH!!!

    memories...

    *sob*

  • orcas YES, greatest design ever made for a attack chopper, with new VTOL propulsion. i wish the US would actually make that.

  • In real-life, there were really aircrafts built with that kind of propulsion, but the testresults weren't satisfying.

  • Plus there was no real interest. Though it would be very useful against things like SAMs or Stingers.

  • would the F35 Lightnings' propulsion system be in any way similar to that of the original Orca?

  • no, the Orca's propulsion system is build out of 50 % AWSOMEness and another 50% out of INSANEness

    so, I dont think so..
