  • Sorry to hear that! It's a shame that Microsoft makes it so hard to enjoy the classics. Hopefully someone may have a solution.

  • Hi. You wouldn't happen to have any suggestions as to how to get this to work on Windows XP Pro SP3? I tried compatibility modes, run in 256 colors, lower screen size, etc. all to no avail. It gets an error code or tells me to take out the demo cd and restart ::sigh::....I was looking forward to this too.

  • @helmsleyera1 That's my prob too. I cannot play the game on my windows 7. A shame since this game is....in my opinion....the best Titanic game ever. There is a newer one comming out that may have better graphics, but the story line in THIS one is the best.

  • Is it just me or is everyone in this demo Rude XD

  • My friend had this "prequel" CD. I remember playing it with her YEARS and YEARS ago! I still have (and still play!) Titanic: Adventure Out of Time, the full version. I bought it for $10 about 12 years ago at Best Buy LOL!

  • I really must say, that Penny Pringles voice, is actually terrible, in the demo version.

  • A touch of the Mal der Mer, was it?

  • Smethells the steward, I remember him, very interesting character....I actually work with a man who looks just him, and I'm not kidding...I actually showed a picture of

Smethells to him and he went OMG....I do look like him, then he busted out laughing...it was funny!

  • I have this game from 1997 and im dying to play it, but cant get it to work on windows 7... any ideas

  • im confused, i still have the full game and recently i played and completed it and i played this mission :s why is it called the lost mission?

  • How come there are so many pauses between sentences when the characters are talking? My demo runs much more smoothly than this with no pauses between sentences at all.

  • It's a shame that you didn't show how you find out that Eric Burns is in cabin A 29. For other people reading this, you find out by going back to your cabin (A 20 in the demo version) and looking at the piece of paper on the table which is a passenger list (in the full game it is a dinner menu).

  • I love Titanic Adventure out of Time, I've had the game since 1997. I have this demo on a demo disc which is how I first found out about the game. I also have the tour guides for the game. If anybody would like one or both of these, PM me and we'll figure out how I can send whatever you want to you.

  • I used to love this game when I was little.

But now I remember how much Smethel's eyebrow used to irritate me.

  • This looks more like "Dust" than the actual Titanic game that was made.

  • Penny Pringle's giving everyone the finger at 2:34

  • @AdamTheDroog lol

  • @AdamTheDroog That's funny, I can't believe she actually is....I definitely got a laugh out of it for sure.

  • Hmm I thought Carlson didn't leave his cabin till the night of the 14th lol

  • Smethles still makes me chuckle for some reason, even 12 years after playing this game for the first time.

  • i had this game on 2 cds. i throw it into the bun. because counterstrike is way more cool.

  • I actually like the demo version better. PEOPLE ARE MOVING!

  • @metal890 yes in the final version people looks like zombies when we click at them they stare me like a zombie

  • @metal890 Yes i noticed that too, they are really moving and allive haha

  • I kinda wish they would update this game. It has soooo much potential with today's technology!

  • God, Penny's voice is horrific i'm so glad this isn't what the full version is like

  • Eric Burns looks and sounds like Jeff Foxworthy lol

  • lol Eric's wife is identical to Marie Macintosh from DUST!

  • I am Smethells...your steward...lol the conversations in this demo are very awkward.

  • wait they never Showed Prinagle at the Grandstar case what is going on here?

  • Eric Burns wasn't on C Deck in Cabic C78?

  • were do you download this

  • The music for the hallways is wrong, Penny's voice is wrong, and the graphics are wrong! Based on what you do in this demo, is this technically a prequel for the full version of the game?

  • Based on what's happening in this demo you can certainly name it a prequel...

  • @sirou1sirou whhere di you find this and is there more to this prequel and Demo?

  • @RPGFreak90 its not wrong, it was a early version

  • @RPGFreak90 "Penny's voice is wrong..."

    So is Officer Morrow's voice

  • @RPGFreak90 The graphics are slightly better then in the full game.

  • The only rooms you're able to visit are shown in the video...Although it's just a demo, it is not free of charge.

  • why is this called the lost Mission adn where did you find this?

  • Its funny how in the demo Officer Morow claims that not even god can sink the Titanic. Yet in the full game if you ask him if the Titanic is unsinkable I remember him saying "Thats just pish posh to sell newspapers. The Titanic is a ship, and ships sink"

  • Thanks for sharing. I've never seen the demo before. Weird!

  • This is more like a prequel, this happens on the 13th when the real game happens on the 14th

  • jeez! and this is the demo? so many changes between this and the full game.

  • Penny's voice is all wrong! BTW I actually have this semo somewhere in storage its been years since I played I remember the screen saver for it too. I recently played the full Adventure out of Time game and still loved.

  • i want to play it so baad

    fucking awesome

    epic

the whole game is in the night?

  • I want to buy his... I have Titanic Adventure out of Time, and I Loooooooooooooooooooooooove ! <3

  • Yes, do that :-) Please notice that this video shows the entire game you will be able to play, ok? ;-)

  • Ha!!! Bravo

I was going to upload my attempt at this but I don't think I'll bother now. Cheers!

  • whered you get this?!

  • Something I noticed in this was that the "Scotland Road" music sounded richer and more ominous than the final version!

  • Comment removed

  • I never knew this prequel (or demo version) ever existed. Thank you for uploading this rare find.

  • Check out my rendition of the opening theme to the game on the Rhapsody Edition Steinway!!!

  • Anything from the '90's doesn't work on Vista.

  • Actually, Titanic: Adventure Out of Time works excellent on my Windows Vista Laptop.

  • Not true, I have played many a game from the great decade of the 90's on my Vista PC

  • Wow!! Always been curious to see what the demo was like - many thanks for posting.
