Planet Terror kicked arse, Robert Rodriguez does better grindhouse style filmmaking than Tarantino, especially with the likes of Machete, that was awesome. The fact he makes his own soundtracks too... Planet Terror was John Carpenter-esque with the synth ambience. I liked Death Proof the first and second time I saw it but it just got boring real fast!

A subtle but clever thing that no one seems to notice about Planet Terror is that the outfits change from scene to scene, but there's always the same colour scheme. It adds to the low-budget exploitation feel of the whole thing. Props to Rodriguez. :)
