I fool a policeman recently.I shit on de ground and place a hat over it.de policeman say,'what you have under de hat?' me say,'a bird'. de policeman say,'let me see this bird! he put his hand under de hat and grab shit! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
I've heard this song thousands of times...since I have memory... and it makes me vibe and reflect on life every time! shit that was an awesome groove !! that drummer has got the reggae swing in his blood... despite being white may I add! haha... just joking! LTJ is a true mesiah! (to Black and White people all over the world)
Sorry mate and me love ya. But I am worried about the kids of England and the black kids are willing to stab more than their white friends. It puts them in the frame.
I love this video, tis always a bad thing for me, when I see old time some thing kicking strong, and never once got to meet the maters. Just wan you fe kno, I love this one for a long time.
I would have enjoyed this if it wasn't for the fact that the video is stretched wide. In this clip, LKJ et al look far wider than they all actually are in real life, believe me.
What happened to reggae? If you do a YouTube search, it seems like reggae died in the 80s. Even the charts in Jamaica don't have reggae music anymore. Too bad. reggaeton is not the same thing.
I first heard this in January 1980 in Galway, it was brought over from England by Mick , who i worked with I GTP. I nearly, I can't describe what it did for and to me, an explosion of all that's good aswell as the realisation that there really is an awful lot of bad out there. Mick also took me to see some band from dublin, they wuz crap and yes it was "who To", Bonio in his bionic white suit. I still have not seen Linton but will do soon.
So glad I once met Linton - 1993. 76 Stroud Green Rd., London I told him I'd thought he was older (the hat). He laugh!

I don't either, remember ever blood clat lick and kick, for nothing more than being me or what ever it was I was in their eye, while I cry and die.

I could have used him in Highland Park & Edison New Jersey, back in 82-88; beating back their stereo typical nonsenses.
