  • my tv rip lol

  • Sorry mate and me love ya. But I am worried about the kids of England and the black kids are willing to stab more than their white friends. It puts them in the frame.

  • LKJ's words always touches me in a way i never forget. the struggle still goes on, hope we don't lose focus in these times.

  • I´ve never been into reggae, but LKJ is in a class of his own.

Seen him 4 or 5 times, always worthwhile.

  • Pretty strong!

  • Hope nobody never has to send a letter like this

  • dont let adrian sherwood near it

  • Linton Kwesi.....much respect

  • The quest for equal rights and justice remains , especially in the global north.

  • Tune. Rember the days, the struggles. Now people forget how dem privelges were won. I dont

  • I don't either, remember ever blood clat lick and kick, for nothing more than being me or what ever it was I was in their eye, while I cry and die.

  • I could have used him in Highland Park & Edison New Jersey, back in 82-88; beating back their stereo typical nonsenses.

  • I love this video, tis always a bad thing for me, when I see old time some thing kicking strong, and never once got to meet the maters. Just wan you fe kno, I love this one for a long time.

  • Sad thing is my friend people today don't understand life and great words

  • godeh LKJ, wicked tune my yoot

  • I would have enjoyed this if it wasn't for the fact that the video is stretched wide. In this clip, LKJ et al look far wider than they all actually are in real life, believe me.

  • thanx for the post!!!

  • Deze is ook zo zwaar OK! thanx for the post!!!

  • What happened to reggae? If you do a YouTube search, it seems like reggae died in the 80s. Even the charts in Jamaica don't have reggae music anymore. Too bad. reggaeton is not the same thing.

  • loved this song when i heard it 20 odd years ago and still love it now

  • This guy was my hero back in the day, now i'm 52 love roots, hey i'm white

  • i'm a white guy too,so what

  • So nothing, God Bless you

  • god bless you too, sorry for being so abrupt

  • Wow, the pause really makes this song on the pick-up. Excellent!

  • Such a good poem and such a good riddim. Essential listening for all who love reggae.

  • good times in London and riots and change, the carnival was good back then, its rubbish now

  • i wish i was there to tsee the master poet in action.....

  • I first heard this in January 1980 in Galway, it was brought over from England by Mick , who i worked with I GTP. I nearly, I can't describe what it did for and to me, an explosion of all that's good aswell as the realisation that there really is an awful lot of bad out there. Mick also took me to see some band from dublin, they wuz crap and yes it was "who To", Bonio in his bionic white suit. I still have not seen Linton but will do soon.
