  • Compared to what Americans did to the Native Americans (skinned them for money) and the blacks (slavery and lynching) that little "torture scene" is nothing. The Japs were pretty honorable people. Everything they did was for their emperor. They believed everything they did was of service to him. So if an American comes to their land with a gun,of course theyre gonna kill. Not to say i'm not proud to be American, but we did some pretty fucked up things, if we forget that, well go right back to it.

  • that kinda pissed me off when they killed that amirican

  • @rjamesify why? there was plenty of killing on both sides

  • hope they burn in hell for killing that hopeless marine

  • @MrPvtmartin Hey, don't be like " ouuuh ( faggot sound ) I'm american , and this guy in the film was , too. I'd like to cut this Japanese off and and and... " In Iwo Jima both did the same , the American's burned with Flame-throwers, hey ... do you even know how it hurts, or what a torture it is to die while burning? This Marine was a fiend of them , so they killed him. Do you want to say me 20.000 American's + Vehicles vs. some Japanese fighters isn't hopeless for Japan?

  • @MrPvtmartin What are you 12? this was world war 2 hopeless innocent people around the world were being killed. Next point he was a marine sent into a combat zone to kill the enemy. How many Japanese did he kill before he was captured. and if you were a 17 yr old soldier who just saw your friends and buddies burned to a crisp by a flamethrower and the enemy was in your hands.Would you be a saint? Be real you do the exact same thing and your buddies would thank you. Easy to be a saint in heaven

  • @maven21 it doesnt matter both of the sides where bad its not his fault he was following orders

  • 0:19 Jap bastards,if i were that marine i would pull out my .45 browning pistol and shot those bastards in their dicks! The bayonet stab reminds me of the horrific crimes those Jap bastards commited in Singapore and Malaysia.DAMN IT!!! Why don't the movie show a part of the American crimes rather to see the Jap's crimes???!!

  • @LycBren you know damn well that you wouldn't do anything of what you just said... it didn't even seem like he was armoured or anything though...

  • if those japanese don't kill themself or Banzai charge reckless in many battle before and continue to fight like the general in Iowa Jima then the casualties would be higher for the American.Remember the defender always inflict heavy casualties on the attacker.

  • the Japs are Such A Badass

  • @mastachief117spartan don't tell me to shut my mouth. Just because you don't want to here it makes it untrue...

  • i felt strange when the men were killing that american with their bayonets just weird

  • lol at the irony in the begganning. "Stay in the back so you won't get shot at" THen a dude takes out a samurai sword.

  • Why are you hatin? You know that the Americans were involved in trophy taking here. They took body parts from dead Japanese soldiers and wore them as a trophy. It is estimated that about 60% of the Japanese bodies were missing their skulls.

  • @Juicythespider thats complete bullshit shut your fucking mouth.

  • @mastachief117spartan The missing skulls part is likely bull but the Americans did do a lot of trophy hunting for gold teeth from the Japanese. Just like how they took priceless treasures in Europe. All Allied and Axis soldiers did this.

  • @simoroberts1 yeah they did

    In the miniseries The Pacific,

Snafu takes a glod tooth from a dead Japanese soldier as "jap gold"

War does some things to you but they did not do what that other guy said

Things like that yeah, He does not know what men like them(soldiers) went through

  • @mastachief117spartan

I dont think it is. The Americans used to be heartless against captured japanese.

  • @askjiir Maybe, but for the Japanese it was tradition, they always tortured captured Americans

From knowledge i have gained about WW2,especially Pacific, the Japanese sometimes would Cut off the genitals of a Marine and stuff it in the Marine's mouth, this Happened to ralph ignatowski(Iggy), a friend of John Bradley "Doc", and many other marines

Have you ever seen the HBO miniseries "The Pacific" ?

  • @mastachief117spartan so you got your "knowledge" from hollywood. Were you there? did you personally see this happen or you just heard about it from someone? Next point Americans did all kinds of things to captured troops and cilvians. Hell we even do that shit now in Iraq or have you not been paying attention to all the soldiers being charged with crimes or the abuse of prisoners. war..its fucked for everyone there are no saints

  • FUCK THE MARINE GOT SCREWED UP BAD

  • I Felt so bad for that Marine it was orders he followed there was no need for the beating just kill him already =[

  • You are a woman in a village.

It was war. Every Man is dead.

    Only one Man came home.

what would you think about him and his family.

The man who shot hisself with the pictures of the family.

He isn´t suicides for Honour...for his Family...for his kids.

Same in other countrys. For the winners and for the losers.

  • @blindsniper: haha... Nice one :)

  • to tell you the truth i think the japs soldier deserved to die because how do u get honor just by suiciding? If you just fight till you die then thats called honor. suiciding doesnt solve anything. btw I remember that Americans take prisoners. Im not sure thats right but beating up a american like that is just cruel. Thats just my oponion so I might be wrong

  • @Dragonkiller3000 The Japanese have a different definition of honour than we do. Look up the Bushido code.

  • y did the american dude just get shot instead of stabbed

  • Wow this guy is a whole different guy in Otoko Tachi No Yamato.

  • They kill 1 american the americans kill 1000 of them

  • @ATSDragon24 did you know that the battle of iwo jima was the only time that the american casualties outnumbered the japanese casualties during the whole pacific campaign? this battle was hell for every soldier involved, and i have the upmost respect for every single soldier that served. regardless of side, they were all humans just doing what they were told to do. they all had families, homes, and it's just a shame of all the wasted lives and potential

  • @strengththrewwoundin Actually the American casualitys were 6,812, Japanesse causualtys were 21,844

  • @lookatthewholepictur those were the death counts. including the wounded, americans had about 26,029 casualties and the japanese 21, 844.

  • Did anyone ever see how the guy with the sword die? I kno he putted mines on him but it doesnt show him die or does it?

  • Yeah, I bet the guy with the sword had commando pro and lightweight on, what a noob. (JOKE!)

    Love this film

  • i think that was Iggy:(

  • @boyformurder045 I don't think so. I think he was killed later when the Marines attacked the more northern part of the island. I don't think it was in Surabachi. I could be wrong though.

  • yes poor dude..

  • poor dude,he was just fallowing orders.

  • @UnfairBattle and so were the japanese to kill him
