  • Good, I like that you share this video This is a homemade wind powered generator blowing in the breeze. No more electric bills for us! Designed by Dave Mussell, Built by Michael, I wish success always

  • Nice Video This is a homemade wind powered generator blowing in the breeze. No more electric bills for us! Designed by Dave Mussell, Built by Michael That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • I Really Like The Video From Your This is a homemade wind powered generator blowing in the breeze.

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing This is a homemade wind powered generator blowing in the breeze. No more electric bills for us! Designed by Dave Mussell,

  • poke fun folks, go ahead! Epand this by x20 and you got the hole house juiced up. LOL

  • I'm really impressed. I wonder if my pet mouse in his wheel could produce more power. Or would that be classed as animal cruelty.

  • does it really work and produce eletric for you??? if so how much eletric does it produce running for an intire day???

  • cools and small

  • how much current it produces?

  • Imagine if something that size actually could.

  • The Entire Northern Hemisphere!!!!

  • This things going to power the entire Northern hemisphere!!!!

  • how to make that?

  • nice one. I would try to make one

  • I built this one a while back. It powers one or two LED's only, but it's a good project to begin learning.

  • @sikantis61 Where did you get the supplies from?

  • @southchizz I got the wood from Home Depot and the plastic from the recycle bin. The dowels are cheapest from a craft store like Michaels. The magnets and wire off Ebay. I also bought a meter off Ebay.

  • I'm assuming this is a small scale model. You'll neeed about 10 times the size to generate anything useful. Nice design though.

  • this monster should power a whole city block !

  • This small turbine is powering your home? How much does this generate?

  • @Flarrm09 that is probably generating enough power for a few small LED lights. maybe a few volts?

  • maybe you should have kept this vid on the camcorder for home moves and not shared on youtube. thanks anyway

  • hey i made one of these and its not working if i made a video of it do you think you could tell me what i did wrong please?

  • im going to try to make this and charge my phone with it... i need 4 volts of electricity

  • Getting a propeller or wind catcher to turn in the wind is the easy part but getting power out of it requires more engineering.

Have your son get a very small dc permanent magnet motor and attach to the top or bottom of the turbine. It will take more wind to get it turning but should produce a volt or two of power for running an LED light.

Visit solar cabin for ideas on wind turbine and solar power uses!

  • i see a motor at the base do you?

  • @Avman3369 And a whole dozen of small ones making the tree shake branches.

  • Hey, check out my website at ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com and get all the new and improved Equipments to build or buy your own solar panels and wind energy turbine systems ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com is a website that sells the most modern environmental products available

  • simple and easy...good job!

  • voltage?

    power?

    ????????/?

  • till 4V

  • how to bill one step by step ?

  • how many volts it generates

  • "No more electric bills for us! " That cracked me up!

  • @Naddycat he'll need a hell of a lot more to get off the grid thats for sure lmao

  • @Naddycat yea it is funny cuz he didn't even say it lol.

    just givin ya hard time

  • @Naddycat What is wrong with that?

Shit, build a few more, connect them all to a nice big coil, you can power all kinds of shit.

My TV is powered by a 12 volt generator attached to a small coil from an old VW sedan's engine.

But i guess its your choice if you wanna remain a slave to The Edison Co. your whole life...

  • Is that just 2 plastic bottles cut in half?

I'd like to make one like that.

I'm working on a much smaller scale. I like the design of yours.

  • Hi thats nice youre son is smart! tell him well done! good luck(:

  • I'm going to make one of these myself. I just got an over-priced electric bill. Time to get off the grid.

  • hey i was just wonderin how you made that because i want to use it for something so it would be great if you could give me the plans or tell me or something please

  • I dont think that little guy will get you completely off the grid BUT if you build a bigger one, or just make a handful more of these and run them together you may start to see a difference. Nice design!

  • you will and you can get off the grid

  • You might try using one of those blue plastic drums spit in half length wise for your next moch up.Good video very inspiring! Is Micheal your boy?

  • if you put that where i live(south shore, nova scotia that thing would fly ,it's blowin 50 km/h

  • Great Job! Keep up the good work!
