This is a beautifully striking concept and I hope it goes to production, "as is." For those thinking it should be a different line... Subaru has released similar designs for the Legacy and it's new sports coupe lines. This is the style branding / family resemblance that all Subarus will be taking on. :) I love it!

This looks amazing and. Please make it the way it looks now. It doesn't actually matter after who it takes the lines... all cars evolve with time (thank god; I wouldn't like to drive with the cars from 19th century) but all that matters are Subaru's exquisite features: symmetrical all-wheel drive and boxer engine that makes the fans rejoice when they grab a hold of it. Keep up the great work in the future as well, Subaru makers. Thank you for showing us what masters are able to do.

it's not bad... well, at least better than what subaru has out now, but i don't feel any particular excitement from seeing it. concept cars are always dulled down by the time they become actual production models, so i'm worried that if this is already dull... the real thing is not going to be good.

i like the front end, but it needs a hood scoop. The side shot looks like a boring car :/ I like the distinctly flared fenders of the older impreza's. Then again you don't state this is a WRX or STI so I can understand. You'd have to step it up a lot for those cars though.

I don't dislike the styling.. it seems to stand too tall though. part of the benefit of having a flat 4 is a lower hoodline. it just seems like there's too much there, which will push the weight up. more room, more temptation to fill it with metal. I guess it may have shorter overhang so maybe stuff is stacked inside.

It will be fun to use all-water-drive though! ;)

I love my American muscle cars (Camaro SS forever, baby), but Subaru makes the best and most reliable vehicles on the road. From the advice of a seasoned master auto mechanic and good friend of mine, I took a look to see where these cars were driven: Places like the Austrailian outback, the African Aerengeti, and Northern Russia. The first Subaru I bought was a 1998 Legacy L used and I absolutely fell in love with it. Now and forever...there always will be either a Subaru in my garage.
