Aristotle was not gay. Although he engaged in sexual activities with men, who were young, the Greek understanding of homosexual intercourse with younger men by an older man was platonic. The intercourse was to be only spiritual, not sexually pleasing.
Whether he was naturally a homosexual cannot be determined therefore from his sexual encounters, as it was a cultural norm based on spirituality. Homosexuality was condemned during the time.
