Actually I bet the Warriors would have beaten the Rockets in the 2nd round if they faced them instead of Utah.

Utah beat the Warriors because Carlos Boozer was athletic enough to go against the Warriors big men. After the Warriors got Harrington & Jackson, they learned how to stop Yao even though he's taller than them. They took advantage of Yao's slow feet and they would have done the same if GSW faced Houston in the Playoffs.

Rafer Alston wouldn't be able to guard BD like Deron did.

And the Jazz didn't really rip the Warriors apart like you said, yeah they did win 4-1 in the series but the first three wins that the Jazz got were CLOSE GAMES against Golden State. It was really up for grabs, but the Warriors mistakes mixed with Carlos Boozer's athleticism resulted in Utah winning the series.

The Warriors would have beaten the Suns in the Playoffs, too. Don Nelson would have made Steve Nash irrelevant just like he did with Dirk Nowitzki. The Warriors owned the Suns too.

Of course, what other team in the NBA could rip the mavs apart the way the warriors did, when they won game 2 in the playoffs, they snapped a 6 game losing streak to the warriors. With Richardson gone I can only hope for a better season and playoffs for the mavs.

13 years its more like 15 years the last time the warriors went to the nba playoffs when i was in the 10th grade in high school but in 1992 nba playoffs when they lost to the seattle supersonics as shawn kemp did his amazing sonic boom flying for the dunk and taking a warrior player with him as kemp was foul dragging his player to the hoop that was hella funny hahahaha
