It's strange. An orchestra can be made up of the greatest musicians dead or alive and conducted by God and someone would say "I've heard better"!

I'm an amateur violinist and my orchestra is playing this too! I really don't care about different conductors' interpretations! At my level, getting all the right notes with dynamics in the right places is the main thing for me. It's so satisfying to be able to play this and all other great music. Our conductor's interpretation may or not be the best but we all have a great time and our audiences enjoy it all!

I have heard it beeter too. Vienna Philarmonic Orchestra under Valery Gergiev is the best version I´ve heard live...Karajan and the Berlin Philarmonic is the best recording I´ve heard of this symphony.

Were playing this in Ohio All state orchestra in a couple of weeks.

Yup... Playing this in District Orchestra... It's a crazy piece of music.

This interpretation isn't too bad, but I've heard much better ones... Good work though.
